18.01.2022 Pre-season is ramping up for all Cricket Clubs. As is the norm in the current environment we live in, the Indoor Training Centre is complying with COVID-19 recommendations advised by the Government, Australian Institute of Sport, Cricket Australia and Cricket Tasmania. These physical distancing and hygiene protocols are in place to create and maintain a safe environment for all those participating in training. The responsibility lies with everyone....do the right thing....rem...ain diligent. So what does this mean to those using the Centre? . Sanitise upon entry and exit to and from the Centre . Enter the required information into the attendance register . Do not attend if you are sick or have flu like symptoms . If you feel sick or have flu like symptoms..get tested . Stay up to date with the latest east COVID-19 information . Download the COVID app . Maximum of 5 people per net (including coaches) at any one time . No sharing of equipment ( pads, bats, gloves, helmets etc) . It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure equipment (balls) that comes into contact with multiple people, is sanitised before and after use . If you use the bowling machine, you must sanitise the machine and balls after use, using sanitising products provided . Practice social distancing of 1.5mtrs from the person next to you If we all do the right thing, remain diligent then our cricket training will not be in vain, and we will be able to take to the field when rosters commence in October.
