19.01.2022 A P P R E C I A T I O N & R E F L E C T I O N I have just finished reading a lovely post from one of my fave clients. To keep her anonymity, I shall call her Sandra J, or S. Jones.... Sandra has been coming to me for over 12+ months now. I always look forward to her visits as over this time I have got to know her quite well. I always marvel at her, (quietly), and largely what we are all capable of. She wears a lot of hats, like a lot of us do. She is a professional, an entrepreneur, a natural wellness ambassador, a stunning and supportive wife and a nurturing mum. The list actually does go on.... As most of you have come to know me, I maybe operate a little differently. I love to talk (really???). Not during the massage though. Unless you want to lol... I love getting to know all the faces that come through my door. I really do appreciate the fact that for some reason you have found me, and if you are a regular, you return. To me, and hopefully you also, this is an important part of massage. Connection in all aspects of life is important. For you to truly get the most out of a massage, you need to feel at ease with the person who is massaging you. To get full benefit requires complete surrender which is hard to do with someone you dont know. To me, you are not just another appointment. You are an individual and are treated accordingly. I made this commitment to you and me from the outset. Massage is hugely beneficial for so many reasons. The connection theory also applies to your mind and body. One ALWAYS affects the other. By taking the regular time out on my table, you address both. You will (hopefully) always feel much better in mind and body when you leave. A Full Body Massage affects all systems of the body for you to function more effectively and I always say this to you. You treat your body like a machine, the machine needs servicing.... 06.01.2022 MINI MASSAGES! I love that a lot of my clients are husbands and wives, partners, etc. Its fabulous to get to know individuals and families. Its even better when I get to treat their kids to a half hour of their own bliss. Kids also have a lot going on as well! Kids get overwhelmed, stressed, anxious and tired like the rest of us.... I had a brother and sister in consecutive appointments on the table this afternoon. Of course, they loved it! It was their quiet, nurturing half hour of warm essential oils, stones and music.... Kids are very susceptible and vulnerable to excessive stimulations. I understand that life is hectic, but what if once a month you swapped out one of their "activities" for an "inactivity"? It gives them something different to look forward to and calms and resets the nervous system while also stimulating and moving fresh blood and lymph around the body.
