23.01.2022 Hello dear Clients, things are going to be a little different in 2021. Covid-19 has not gone away and the regulations will continue to impact us all. One thing that won't be changing is how much I love to look after all my wonderful clients beauty needs, and make your time at Indulgence something you look forward to each time you visit. I am taking a little time to look after my grandson Darcy on Mondays and Fridays and my new hours are:... Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 9am -6pm. I am back to work on Tuesday 12th January and as per Qld Health guidelines below, masks will be required to be worn in the salon this week IF YOU HAVE BEEN IN BRISBANE or ON A FLIGHT FROM BRISBANE since January 2, as well as anyone who has TRAVELLED to listed COVID-19 Hotspots. (Greater Sydney and Melbourne). Treatments on your face can still be performed and masks can be removed for this time. But you will be required to wear a mask for the duration of your waxing or pedicure or tinting appointment. Which is a conundrum, but it is the health regulation. My normal requests for only attending the salon if you and your immediate family are completely well and have no symptoms of ANY ILLNESS including COLDS, VOMITING ETC. Please call to reschedule your appointment if you or any family member is unwell. Please arrive at your appointed time, please don't come early to fill in your form, time has been allocated for this. This is also a Qld Health requirement I am not meant to have clients overlap in my treatment space. This is all to keep you safe too. Thank you for your consideration. 23.01.2022 I’ve been inundated with requests for appointments BUT there are conflicting reports and restrictions that need clarifying. The QLD govt has our industry listed under a few stages a few weeks apart ... so stay tuned and I’ll keep up to date! 23.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that I have made the decision to close for now. The Government has finally seen the close-contact risks involved in the beauty industry and ordered the industry to shut down. I am very sorry to let you down. ... I have several auto-immune health conditions as well as a chronic disease. I can no longer take the risks of inviting Covid-19 into my home, which is my clinic. As well as the risk that all of the people that I see combined, increases the risk of exposure to YOU. Yesterday, I visited my daughter and baby grandson for the last time, (til this is over) BEFORE, I then saw: 8 clients, 3 escorts, 3 delivery men, 1 tradesman, 3 shop assistants, (in 1 shop, but I got some toilet paper) 1 nephew and my husband. 20 PEOPLE. In 1 day. I am not safe, if you do the statistics. I will still have skincare products from Algologie, Fleur de Mer, Esmi Skin Minerals Masks and Skin Juice available to purchase. I will also be happy to give professional skin consultations and advice via video phone link during this time. I wish you and your family well and will see you on the other side of this. 12.01.2022 Ok time for some serious business.... to be able to open my doors on Wednesday I have had to put in place a few additional procedures for clients and behind the scenes. If all clients could co-operate with the following procedures we might get on top of this virus and keep ourselves and community safe! - strictly by appointment only, no walk ins, even for gift vouchers or products. - before your appointment you will receive a message from me reminding you of a few key reques...ts. - I ask that you arrive to your appointment alone (no children sorry ) and on time. Please don't arrive early as I have a strict cleaning regime after each client and must complete this before I allow you to enter. - I ask that you use the hand sanitiser available. - You’ll be required to update your contact details and fill in a document regarding current health etc. - Behind the scenes there will be increased use of disposables, personal protection equipment and cleaning of common areas with hospital grade disinfectant between each and every client. - Additional time has been allowed between appointments for additional cleaning but also to reduce amount of people in salon at one time. Most cleaning measures were taking place anyway as health and hygiene is a paramount priority. On the less serious side I can’t wait to see you all and return to a little normality...
