21.01.2022 Back home safe and sound after the world tour. The business opportunities we dug up while visiting New York and Europe were endless and several will now go up for further research. Visiting logistic operations in both prosperous and not so prosperous areas to see how the other side of the world operates was extremely interesting. Have to say however that our warehouse design, operating techniques, transportation etc leaves little to be improved compared to many of our trading partners, at least at the lower end of the scale. Automation was left basically to the walmarts and amazon end of the market as well as major strategic package carriers like UPS and Fedex. Not something that idg has to worry about yet. 21.01.2022 Our latest industrial project at Berrinba was leased only a month after completion but unfortunately the new tenant had some major timing issues with Energex and have asked us to see if we can re-lease the property for them. 16.01.2022 Just settled the sale of 3 Unley St Brendale for client Tealeaf Investments. Unley St was one of the property management listings we purchased back in February. While no longer under our management the owners were very happy with our ability to find a buyer above their expected sale price and within only a few weeks of listing. Especially when we were told it would not sell. Sold to a part owner occupier introduced by Wright Property.

12.01.2022 A great afternoon on Friday watching the teams go around at the Corporate Rugby 10s. Two 7 1/2 minute halves is about all any of them can take and there were plenty of big hits and bodies carried off on the day. Invited by Jones Lang LaSalle who put on a big effort with entertainment, BBQ and a serious Marque. Highlight was discussion with Premier Campbell Newman and his views on the election. While knocked out in the semi JLL played some great football on the day.
