24.01.2022 The new laser welding system installed into Micro-X in Adelaide. A fully bespoke system using the IPG QCW 450/4500 laser with pulse shaping. Designed and built within 3 months at Industrial Laser it was supplied on time and on budget. The welding cell incorporates an automated rotary axis allowing accurate positioning and welding of three components using cnc controlled load cells to keep clamping pressure to within 0.1kg. Welding positional accuracy on this application was +/-0.02mm. Options also included wobble head integration for full control of weld width. Priced from A$250,000.

02.01.2022 Australia’s premier manufacturing show is on in Melbourne Tuesday next week and as usual Industrial Laser will be showcasing all things Laser. We will be demonstrating the Bodor P3015, the SISMA marker with sophisticated pattern recognition, showcasing the new Precitec Procutter Zoom and laser scan welder. IPG Photonics will be available to talk about the latest in laser development. We will have 11 staff manning our stand so pop in say hello.
