25.01.2022 Did you know? More than 15,000 new chemicals were introduced into Australia under our exemption provisions during 2019-20. Of these, 84% were cosmetic chemicals. Each year under NICNAS, industrial chemical introducers must give us information about any new chemicals introduced under the exemption provisions. For a new chemical to be exempt, it must meet certain requirements. Learn more at: bit.ly/2TXlOPt

24.01.2022 NICNAS Business Services offline from 26 June to 30 June NICNAS Business Services will be unavailable from 6pm (AEST) on Friday 26 June 2020 for major upgrades and changes in preparation for the launch of our new scheme, the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS) on 1 July. You wont be able to log in or use NICNAS Business Services from 6pm on Friday 26 June to Tuesday 30 June while we do these essential works. But our online service will reopen on 1 J...uly with a new name, new web address and a suite of new features. AICIS Business Services (from 1 July) https://business.industrialchemicals.gov.au Your NICNAS Business Services account will automatically transfer to AICIS Business Services, so you dont have to do anything.
