21.01.2022 Introducing our musical theatre teacher Tayah Crothers! Tayah is both a teacher at Industria and the WA Talent School so she is super pumped about this collaboration for our July workshops! Tayah completed a Diploma of Musical Theatre at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2018 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Music (Jazz) at the same institution. Some of Tayah’s performance highlights include Optus Stadium, Crown Perth, Disneyland, Universal Studios, ...Performing Arts Perspectives, ABC’s The Heights, the Australian Premiere of Band Geeks, Brent Street’s Autumn Intensive and more. 08.01.2022 Introducing our contemporary teacher Taao! Taao Buchanan is a young performer specialising in music theatre and dance. She has been dancing for over 16 years across a number of styles, and is continuing her training at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in a Bachelor of Musical Theatre. Having taught in various genres of dance over the last 3 years, Taao is thrilled to be teaching the Contemporary dance slot for our July workshops! 07.01.2022 Introducing our Broadway Jazz teacher Anthony Garcia! A high school graduate of the performing arts school The McDonald College, Anthony has been a professional musical theatre performer since childhood. Aged 11, he performed the role of Jeremy Potts in the Australian production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He was also cast as Pugsley Addams in the Broadway musical The Addams Family. Other professional credits include the role of Jason in the musical Falsettos and a memb...er of the children's ensemble in the opera Tosca at the Sydney Opera House. Most recently, however, Anthony performed the role of Chino in Opera Australia’s internationally touring production of West Side Story. Here he performed across the world beginning in Australia and then performing in theatres throughout Germany and New Zealand. 04.01.2022 Introducing our hip hop teachers Adelle Masters and Kyah Kani Both of these incredible ladies have been dancing since the age of 4 and currently dance with The Society! They have both competed in Upgrade, an international hip hop competition in Queensland and many other battles, events and shows. Earlier this year they were booked to compete in Mexico but due to current circumstances this event has been placed on hold. We are so lucky to have Adelle and Kyah teaching for us this July!
