24.01.2022 At the beginning of this year, we carefully interviewed and auditioned the following dancers who were successfully selected to be IPA featured soloists. Although our year did not go to plan we are excited for our new elite concept and program aimed at enhancing and celebrating our dancers individual needs outside of and in addition to their all important group training. 23.01.2022 And Term 1 is officially done! We have had such a great start to the year and if this term has been anything to go off, we are going to have an INCREDIBLE year! A huge thank you to our students, staff and parents for their support and for always working so hard. Many of our dancers have been lucky enough to have started their holidays with the NXTGEN Project, Tasmanian Dance Expo and Brent Street on Tour. We are so proud of our busy dancers who continue to extend themselves ...by doing such workshops and spending their holidays doing what they love Now seriously... it's time to unplug, rest and recharge ready for a huge Term 2! IPA 2020 FEATURED SOLOIST TRAINS IN: RAD ballet, jazz, tap, song & dance, lyrical, extension programs, hip-hop and private lesson in all genres which is approximately 7.5 hrs/wk as an advanced senior level dancer. Ruby has trained under Cindy Johnston & Natasha Jones (BLD) for much of her life. Ruby is a valued and loved dancer at IPA who is a quiet achiever but an absolute talent to watch for. About to complete her Advanced 1 ballet e...xam, Ruby is a perfect example of a committed, loyal, versatile dancer that is trusting of her teachers to lead the way. A great energy in class, sometimes a little forgetful... ... but always the best work ethic! 13.01.2022 MEET: Sophie Williams 18 years IPA 2020 Featured Soloist TRAINS IN: jazz, tap, song & dance, lyrical, RAD ballet and private lessons approximately 3 hrs/wk. Sophie is a successful dancer across various styles including, a champion tap soloist and acclaimed song and dance competitor. In addition to her dance accomplishments, Sophie is a much sought after musical theatre performer and is a credit to MTC and her vocal teachers both past and present. A dancer who has m...aintained her dance training into her senior years to ensure she remains a triple threat says everything about her work ethic. We believe Sophie is destined for the professional world in musical theatre, however letting this one spread her wings will be both heart bursting and a struggle at the same time.
