25.01.2022 Island of flying fish Original is still available 1440 cm x 1160 cm You know , sometimes watching animal planet, you think how did they capture this or that so closely ? ... The life of marine creatures is so amazing. I’ve seen this video of flying fish frantically trying to escape danger .., They do not exactly fly, but are able to glide above the surface of the ocean for long distances when escaping predators. The whole scene was really intense and became an inspiration for me ! Members of the genus are known as mandrakes. There are between three and five species in the genus. The one or two species found around the Mediterranean constitute the mandrake of ancient writers such as Dioscorides. Even though I haven’t seen one in real life , I was always fascinated by them , the colours, shape , the casual way they carry themselves..their beaks are curved so they can catch fish and they are very beautiful.
