23.01.2022 Here at Infigen were doing everything we can to keep our team safe, healthy and engaged during the COVID-19 crisis. We are also acting early to ensure our strong team culture endures through this period of remote working. We know that these are early days in a long journey. We are focused on supporting each other through this and to maintain our strong team culture. Look out for snapshots of our team activities over the upcoming days, weeks and months. Some of the initiat...ives we have already implemented include: - Online lunch & learns providing professional development from internal and guest presenters; - The provision of a small employee allowance to cover additional home internet, electricity or mobile phone charges incurred due to remote working; - The continued celebration of staff birthdays, with cakes delivered to employees homes; - Internal chat channels created on food, pets, exercise and humour; - Our flu vaccination program has been extended to family members; - Care packages have been sent to employees whose partners have been stood down or laid off; - A team of five employees are offering a phone a friend service allowing people to just check in and chat; - The supply of P2 masks, hand sanitiser, stationery and even toilet paper to staff as needed; - Staying social with a company-wide game of virtual trivia at the end of the week; - Reaching out to our customers to check-in on their wellbeing; and - Whenever possible, we have continued to use our normal suppliers so that they too can keep their doors open.

23.01.2022 Infigens 25MW/52MWh battery at Lake Bonney, South Australia was energised in late 2019. It helps provide our customers with firm supplies of clean energy. By participating in the frequency control ancillary services (FCAS) markets, it also contributes to the grids stability and reliability in South Australia. The $38m project received $5m in funding from ARENA as part of ARENAs Advancing Renewables Programme and $5m from the South Australian Governments Renewable Technology Fund. https://youtu.be/3gT2WptaSpE

20.01.2022 At the end of every month the team gets together for drinks and a laugh. Working from home wasn’t going to stop us from keeping up this tradition. Last Friday we celebrated six birthdays, drew the first lucky dip winners for our Bushfire Relief initiative, and held our first of what might be many online team events. Our IT team were the winners however the jury is still out as to whether Siri and Cortana should be considered team members! Given the IT team made the event possible, we will give them the benefit of doubt!
