23.01.2022 Tomorrow will mark a very special birthday for In Fine Fettle - we turn 18! Who knew that we would make it this far when we started with one room in a house attached to Barry Plant (thanks Joanne Staindl-Johnson, Elinor Boloski). Some current patients will even remember our first clinic. We have seen many moves & many feature walls but our beautiful patients have followed us which makes us feel incredibly proud & grateful.... Thank you to all of our hardworking therapists & also the fabulous team at True Potential Chiropractic for all of your support over the years. 17.01.2022 All allied health professionals currently operating will be able to resume routine face-to-face care. That is the statement. As we are not open now I think that means we are excluded. This has been our ongoing issue for months. As Remedial Therapists we are in some respects considered Allied Health but massage is not recognised by AHPRA, the governing body. This means we fall into a grey area where our associations now have to request a meeting with the government to adv...ocate/clarify whether we are Allied or Personal Care which then gives us our potential start date. Hopefully tomorrow we will have that answer so we can start contacting everyone. Feel free to comment here with your preferred day/time/therapist so we can start making a list if you haven’t been in contact already. 05.01.2022 We have now received confirmation from the Chief Allied Officer that massage therapy, remedial massage therapy and myotherapy are not included in the easing of restrictions this means that we are unable to return to routine services at this time. Our professional associations will continue to advocate on our behalf for an earlier return to work than 2nd November. Thank you all for your calls, messages, comments & support - we appreciate it immensely. Every time things chan...ge & we have to reschedule we feel like we let you all down so we will wait until at least next week to start appointment rescheduling.
