25.01.2022 Last weekend I spent at Brisbane Wordcamp. It was so great to hang out with nerds like me, meet new people and make new friends and, of course, to learn something new about WordPress or business strategies. Unfortunately, I didn't take many photos but happy to share what I have. A few takeaways: 1. ACF Pro was always one of ma fav plugins to use. At WCBNE Alex Bishop showed how to use ACF and Gutenberg together. It was an eye-opener for me, I am itching to try it. Unfortunat...ely, I couldn't find this presentation on WC Live Stream yet, but if you interested - try to search for it in a few days/weeks, so worth watching. 2. I didn't play with Gutenberg all that much, so I was gobsmacked to see how easy it is to build custom blocks using the Block Lab plugin. You can check the block Lab here: https://getblocklab.com/ 3. Was interesting to see how Paul Luxford is using WP in combination with ACF to create Proposals ( <3 ACF). 4. From a business perspective, I enjoyed listening to Jen Jeavons about "What goes into a $50K+ WordPress website". 23.01.2022 One of the things I always recommend to all my clients when they ask how to get faster and higher on the page in the search results in Google is to register on Google My Business. I just came across this article and looks like Google is adding more tools to their Google My Business platform to help local businesses. So if you don't have an account on Google My Business for your business yet - you better make one. Click below to read the article.

20.01.2022 Hi guys, I think think this is great news. I activated it on my account today to check it out. It connects both platforms - Business Facebook Page and Business Instagram Account and makes it a lot easier to create a post and share it on both platforms or chose which platform to post on. 13.01.2022 Love my job. Today I went to meet with the client and after the meeting, they took me around to show some parts of their working site (It's an engineering company). I built a good share of websites for Engineering or Heavy Construction companies, so I have seen lots of images of the equipment and machinery (that I used on the sites) but to see it all in real life and at work was impressive.
