22.01.2022 Welcome to ‘Infinitely You’!!! I have had this idea of creating a blog for what feels like a very long time, and I kept putting it off. When I finally discovered the name I wanted, the ball started rolling, I secured the domain name, figured out my hosting and started to create my WordPress website and then life got in the way, or rather I let it. I have dreamt of living this life of freedom, of writing, of creating my own schedule and of being able to live a life that I cre...ate. However, I kept putting it off, because of fear. The fear of going against what is expected and the safe route. I kept thinking, ‘I’ll get to it one day’, but you know what, that day would have never arrived! I’m a perfectionist, and that can hold me back from getting things done because it never feels completely ready, but you know what, it never will! I listened to a podcast the other day by @strongbabecollective who was interviewing @thefreedombabe and they mentioned something that really resonated with me, that you don’t need to have the end product figured out and know exactly what it is that you are going to do for the rest of your life. Just take the next step that feels good, that puts you on the path to where you want to be. The time will pass anyway, so start now, and you will be where you want to be so much sooner! So, that’s what I am doing right now, my first post for ‘Infinitely You’! I’m not going to lie, it’s uncomfortable, and there is a voice in my head saying, ‘Is this really what your first post should be about?’ My answer is YES! ‘Infinitely You’ is EXACTLY that, a place to be completely and entirely yourself, a place where we can truly open up and talk about the things that matter and that we are passionate about. Thank you for joining me on this journey and I hope that you discover what it means to be ‘Infinitely You’ along the way!!!

20.01.2022 Motivation is hard! I’ve found that lately my motivation has been in short supply. While I’d love to think that the great things happening in my life right now would be enough to keep me going and push me towards reaching my goals, the reality of the situation is that they don’t. I’ve been feeling unmotivated and I’ve started to ask myself why? I found that what I have been telling myself for so long is incorrect, that being motivated isn’t all you need to get to where you wa...nt to be. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve heard countless people say that you ‘can’t rely on motivation’, but sometimes old habits die hard. I think it was easier to blame motivation or the lack thereof, for not reaching my goals, where in reality I have not been dedicated or disciplined enough to reach them. But you know what, that’s okay! Life happens & your determination and motivation to your goals will ebb and flow. I don’t think there is any one solution, because what may work for me may not work for you. But what I am finding is that you really need to do these things from a place of love. Choose to eat healthy & nutritious foods because you love your body and want what is best for it, choose to incorporate movement into your day because it makes you feel good, choose to take time out for yourself because that’s when you truly learn who you are, choose to surround yourself with people that inspire you and lift you up because that’s what you deserve, choose to do more of what you love every single day! Often when we first set goals we are feeling extremely motivated and this continues for a few days, weeks or maybe even months if you are lucky! However, when that motivation disappears, wouldn’t it be great to be able to continue on not because you feel you ‘have to’ but because you ‘want to’, because you are ‘able to’. It’s the small choices we make everyday from a place of love that ultimately get us to where we want to be. #infinitelyyou #thursdaythoughts #motivation #love #selfdevelopment #goals #selflove #change #choices #quote #inspiration

17.01.2022 We have been so conditioned by society to feel as though there is a certain path we must take to be considered ‘successful’ and to feel like our life is ‘on track’. But what happens when sticking to the status quo no longer serves us and leaves us feeling anxious, lost and confused? I have always felt like I am in a constant battle between sticking to ‘the plan’ of life and wanting to forge my own path. It’s a battle I have yet to conquer completely. Some days my rebellious ...side and fiery soul are so determined to step outside the boundaries and embrace the path I long for, and then on other days the fear rises up and keeps me stuck on the ‘socially acceptable’ path. In life I feel that we always think it has to be either this or that, that we must choose a path and stick to it, but why can’t we have both? Who says we can’t have every single thing we desire? Our thoughts and beliefs shape and create our reality, so when we are constantly thinking that ‘we can’t have it all’ then of course that is what we create for ourselves! It’s time to change that mindset, shake things up and know that you can have your cake and eat the damn thing too!! There is no limit to what you can have and achieve, you just need to realise that you are the only one standing in your own way. So today I challenge you to step aside and let your true desires shine through, it is time to say yes to the life you deserve and not just settle for the life you were given! #infinitelyyou #chooseyou #fear #quote #dreams #mindset #lifestlyeblog #forgeyourownpath #youcanhaveitall #dontsettle #stepup #standout See more

07.01.2022 In a world where so much darkness and pain often resides, it can be hard to see the good around us, in others and even in ourselves. Over the last 24 hours I have been made aware of some horrific things happening around the world, it’s truly devastating. It’s times like these when I feel my empathetic nature can become overwhelmed. When I take on the feelings and emotions of others, as well as my own, it can be all consuming. Therefore it is so important for me to be mindful... or what I’m consuming mentally and emotionally. When we are surrounded by negativity and heartache it is so easy to slip into a downward spiral. However, it’s at this exact moment that we need to stop ourselves and instead look to how we can make a difference, how can we make the world a kinder, more loving place? This is when I ask myself, how can I be better? Because that is all it takes, for you to take one step towards being the better version of yourself. That small change can have a ripple effect and change your entire life, day after day. If we can all focus on being better than we were yesterday, the world will be better, life will be better and better days will be on their way.

07.01.2022 ‘It’s okay’... something I’m trying to embrace right now. I sat down this morning to write my next blog post and just hit a wall. Nothing was coming to mind and I couldn’t collect my thoughts together. After trying to force something on two different topics I decided to stop and remind myself that ‘it’s okay’. ... One of my main desires for ‘Infinitely You’ is for it to be authentic. I knew that the best thing I could do was to leave it for the time being and come back to it later, when I was feeling inspired and my mind could focus clearly. So, if you are feeling a certain way about something, if you are unsure or are trying to force something that just doesn’t feel right. Take this as a sign and reminder that it’s okay! I believe it’s so important that we honour every feeling we have. Pushing it aside and just ‘getting on with it’ rarely serves us or those around us. Trust you gut, your intuition, and the timing of your life, because whatever is meant for you will not pass you. T xx
