18.01.2022 I preach to my clients about health and wellbeing needing to be about balance. All parts working in unison to create happiness. A healthy mind, healthy soul, healthy body. Moving your body being one key aspect. Strength, flexibility, mobility and stability and of course cardiovascular fitness. Personally I'm pretty good in most areas tending to my mind my soul and my body, what I put in and what I put out One area that I fall short in is cardio so time to practice what I Preach. A simple challenge I'm setting for myself starting today is 60kms in 30 days. Day 1, hitting the treadmill. #startsmall #pilatesgoldcoast #fitmums #livelife #goldcoastmums #createnewhabits #yourbodyisyourtemple #youonlyget1 # #healthymindbodysoul

16.01.2022 Daily afternoon tea for the Lappin Family. I used to always be worried that the kids weren’t getting enough nutrients in their lunch boxes or more to the point whether they were eating the goodness that I’d pack especially when I’d find empty wrappers of sugar filled treats in their lunch boxes from trades with friends. Were they throwing the good stuff in the bin? Now I don’t bother myself with their lunch so much as I know they’re coming home to a nutrient packed snack. #findyourjoy #youonlygetone #healthyafterschoolsnacks #mumoffour #dairysugarwheatfree

09.01.2022 Start with you!

01.01.2022 Body Control movements make me feel strong and empowered. Anyone battling with hypothyroidism and hormone changes after 40 knows it’s an arduous process of trial and error. I wasn’t prepared for how my body would change and how frustrating it would be. My philosophy on Pilates and why I teach it has always been so our bodies can be strong and able as long as possible, never about vanity or looks. But when your body starts to change in ways you don’t necessarily like it’s ...hard not to get down on yourself. I’ve had months of feeling less than good about myself but after lots of research, diet and exercise changes together with some good quality added nutrients I’m finally feeling a little more like myself. The female body is a puzzle at times and it’s important to remember we are all different and our bodies function in a myriad of ways, working out what is best for yours is the first step. Don’t be hard on yourself, praise yourself for each step in the right direction. If it feels good that’s a good start. #moveyourbody #pilates #findyourjoy #yuoonlygetone
