24.01.2022 Happy Monday everyone, sharing one of my flow pieces, about the little boat flowing down the river of life, the path is paved with gemstones and rocks, its curved but there is also straight lines and different areas that have different meanings to me, i keep this at my front door hanged on the wall, the recent winds almost blew my boat away, reminded me of where we are all at , do I glue the boat back to its original position ? Or do I leave it hang out with nature and the e...lements? Do we structure or do we go with the flow? Are the rocks obstacles or are they the way forward? Interesting conversations can be had around the river of life, everyone perspectives and life experiences skills and gifts in their life are very different. 24.01.2022 Happy Sunday and Happy Fathers Day to all men out there, a big happy fathers day to my dad in heaven I wanted to share this photo of my girls much younger @designedbyjanel @theconsciousfooodie with my dad, as my dad also helped to raise my girls. I know everyone has someone they call a hero who helped them, my mum and dad was mine. Every week a box of fruit and vegetables, bags of meat, basic essentials he grew made and brought, so we never went without. I grew up on a fruit ...farm in Adelaide but I didnt realise till I looked at this photo that so did my girls, this farm was a beautiful house in the suburbs of Melbourne, lush and green and within the four fences of his home and the nature strip was his palace. He argued with the council and planted fruit trees there too lol a legend, he created everything in his home and fed all of us with his kindness, my girls had two dads, their biological dad and my dad. 20.01.2022 So you mostly all know Ive been painting crystal hearts for years but this is One of my pieces I was inspired to work on,it started in May this year,Im showing you the first part but it now has 2 more pieces added and it will need another big canvas to sit on before its finished. This was A year in the making, it took quiet time for my friend Orkide TC O Altundas to sit down late at night when the kids are asleep to hand crochet my requests for tiny bags to hold crystals for our bra. Ive been thinking about this for over a year but I cant sew and I cant crochet lol so I had to wait. With the turn of events this year, Time is something most of us have so this is one of the thing...s Ive been working on to add to my work, but also encouraging other womens gifts to be shown and shared. Shes making me bags for my sprays next. Black 100% cotton. What came to me was- for our private thoughts in private places we can keep crystals close to our hearts desires. These tiny bags will have 3 crystal spheres, clear quartz, rose quartz and black obsidian. I also feel that you can take out the crystals and place your own crystal inside the pocket. 06.01.2022 Every single person has faced obstacles and difficulties in their life Im sure of it. It may be a very different terrain than mine but equal in its pain. What was the glue that held you and me together? Mine was the search for better days, a greater understanding of the What, Why, When did this happen. I learnt the question Why? Was one I may never fully know ,so I decided and I made a choice to travel another path, one where I would acknowledge what happened,when it happene...d but now my questions changed and became, How can I move away from here and move a little over there. There- there was where joy could be found, acceptance,love,beauty ,self independence and a new life a new identity , big changes. Remember I wasnt alone , I had 2 girls by my side, one holding a hand each at the tender age of 4 and 5. And I wasnt alone my internal compass was guiding me and what was guiding my compass? Something much bigger. Yes I have lived and experienced a lot in my personal and my professional life and Ive helped a lot of people as well and through their kind hearts and eyes they helped me and Ive seen life too from their perspective. After much internal debate that took years for me, I moved moment by moment, step by step with support from many people . So fast forward to 2020 and wow a disaster finds all of us but I say to you, honey this aint nothing new for you, you been through these days maybe its a little different now but its still shit watching these events unfold, another shitty place, it should be adding even more fuel to light up your passions and if this is something new, a huge shock for you, let it happen for in the darkest of times, the light still shines. All the things you love , little treasures of life, and maybe gemstones and the beautiful oils you love,the lotus where do they come from? The deep dark earth. Hold your faith,and if you lost it, find it now and find it quickly and reinvent and reinvest in YOURSELF. Do it ever so gently and slowly whats the big rush. Get help there is always someone around.
