Generally it's cheaper than other comparable activities. 9. Each dance is steeped in tradition. 8. There are only 4 costumes involved in competition, and your child will never wear an indecent costume. 7. With the proper hem and growth pleats a kilt can last a child for a couple of years or longer. 6. In competition or performing at Tattoo's a child will make friends from across the World 5. A close knit community of musicians and other Scot supporters will be befriend and cheer your child on. 4. Scottish Highland Dance is highly aerobic and very beneficial for health. 3. Dance is a great way to increase focus, and teach discipline to a child. 2. They dance with swords. 1. Scottish Highland Dance moms are nothing like the Dance Moms on tv.
