Why not try out a little 'Take the 10' Challenge? ...Take 10 minutes to lie on the floor and move yourself through some of the Pilates mat exercises you remember from your class (whether it be from our online delivery or from when you were in the studio...... ...Or choose one exercise and do 10 repetitions of that one movement. Explore it... ...Or take 10 slow breaths and notice where you feel that sense of expansion and contraction in the body... ...Or take 10 steps out in the sunshine - we've been experiencing some glorious days lately! ...Notice 10 beautiful and vibrant colours when you’re out on your walk or even from your garden! ...Or take your shoes and socks off and stand on a grassy area and feel your 10 toes earthed and grounded. Let the grass tickle you! ...Look UP 10 times during your day... ...Make 10 phone calls to check in with friends you haven't seen or spoken to for a while... These moments of self-care and connection are beneficial for us, especially when we are surrounded by alarming news stories and fear. It's these moments that can ground us and remind us of our humanity.
