13.01.2022 Nice to get a little shout out from Love Food Hate Waste
12.01.2022 A group of local youth took part in our Sustainable Baristas Program during the October school holidays. The program was sponsored by AGL’s Local Community Investment Program. The group spent the first day learning about environmental sustainability and what practical everyday actions they could take to support positive environmental outcomes, reduce food waste, recycling, energy & water efficiency. The participants then completed a nationally accredited barista and food sa...fety course in partnership with the Macarthur Tourism, Travel & Events College providing them with entry level employment skills. The program got some great feedback & participants said they learnt a lot about sustainability and the ways they can make changes to be more resourceful & sustainable. MCSL is very grateful for AGL’s support and looks forward to running the program again in the future AGL Energy Macarthur Tourism Travel & Events College C91.3FM See more
10.01.2022 During October, Grill'd Macarthur Square has included MCSL as one of 3 local community groups in their Local Matters initiative. With every burger ordered, a Local Matters token is handed over for Grill'd patrons to drop into the jar of their choice. At the end of the month $500 is split between the groups. So, if you're eating at Grill'd Macarthur Square, please consider putting your token into the MCSL jar :)
