13.01.2022 It's been a couple of years since we improved Arts Project Australia's IT, but Executive Director Sue Roff says it's the COVID-19 lockdowns that have shown her the power of effective technology. The lockdowns and working remotely have shown that effective online infrastructure allows us to showcase more artists and more work, which translates to excellent sales, opportunities for our artists in Australia and overseas and means we can reach new audiences, Sue says. She says ...that the helpdesk support and fit for purpose tools from Infoxchange have given her team the confidence to try new ways of engaging their audience, like weekly online exhibitions, interviews and auctions. 12.01.2022 R U OK Day is a great reminder to check in with your friends and loved ones, especially with many of us doing it tougher than ever before . But what do you say if someone says they're not ok? You can tell them about Ask Izzy, an easy and anonymous way to find what mental health services are available nearby. There are 14,170 organisations in Australia currently listed on www.askizzy.org.au that can connect people with counselling services or more comprehensive professio...nal mental health support. There are also some excellent resources available on www.ruok.org.au that can help you keep the conversation about mental health going, and encourage your mate or loved one to take action if they need support. We hope you're all doing ok in this strange time. Help is out there if you're not, and there's nothing to be ashamed of if you need a bit of extra support . #ruok #ruokday #tellyourfriendsyoulovethem #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealth #inthistogether

"It speaks to the issue of digital media literacy and making sure people aren't left behind, particularly at the moment when we're all online and people are reliant on these apps to stay connected with family," Caroline says.
