12.01.2022 Today is World Environment Day and we want to share with you some of the things our office is doing to improve our waste management. Over the last few months weve been participating in the NSW Governments Bin Trim program, which helps us monitor our waste generation. Were on track, with 88 per cent of our waste currently being recycled but we can do more! The Australian waste sector is facing some big challenges at the moment, as stockpiles continue to grow. We know tha...t the more waste sent to landfill, the greater the impact on air pollution so in line with 2019 WEDs #beatairpollution were committed to improving our waste management. Were also working on new research that looks at the waste sector as an infrastructure issue. Well be releasing more on this very soon, so be sure to check back in!
