21.01.2022 RECYCLING IN THE REGIONS Would you be happy to see new and upgraded recycling facilities, including paper separation, glass sand/aggregate, plastic flak...ing and pelletising, organic composting and solar PV panel reprocessing established in the Bendigo and Echuca regions? 15.01.2022 Yesterday, Committee for Melbourne members explored the findings of Infrastructure Victoria’s latest report; Good Move: Fixing Transport Congestion, highlightin...g the real costs of congestion. We need to change the way we think about future transport systems to achieve optimum value-for-money infrastructure investment. This includes exploring the way we pay for our roads, transport, and parking. Whilst the COVID-19 crisis has temporarily reduced transport network congestion, failure to implement policies that address pre-existing issues means that congestion and over-crowding will likely re-emerge when full economic activity resumes. Thanks to Infrastructure Victoria, our expert panel, and our members for a great forum. You can read the report here: https://www.infrastructurevictoria.com.au//executive-summ/
