24.01.2022 Beautifully orchestrated and most importantly a stunning production of capturing the sacredness of the forest and trees! Highly recommended!

21.01.2022 "Japanese researchers quantified nature’s effects on the brain by sending 280 subjects for a stroll in 24 different forests while the same number of volunteers walked around city centers. The forest walkers hit the anti-anxiety jackpot, showing a 16 percent decrease in the stress hormone cortisol. From fMRI experiments, South Korean researchers found that the brains of volunteers looking at city scenes showed more blood flow in the amygdala, which processes fear and anxiety."

10.01.2022 Nature connectedness and engaging with nature through simple activities like smelling wildflowers consistently emerged as being the significant and prominent factors in explaining mental health and wellbeing

07.01.2022 It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Isabel ‘Joy’ Bear (1927 2021). Joy led research in many aspects of mineral chemistry. Her work contribu...ted to the identification and description of ‘petrichor’. This term is used to describe the unique odour that occurs just before rain. The smell comes about when increased humidity fills the pores of stones (rocks, soil, etc.) with tiny amounts of water. We are thankful to Joy for her lasting legacy and the impact she has made to science. Her work will continue to live on and affect the lives of so many. 01.01.2022 There is never a day spent outside that you don’t learn something. It might be something small, but that small thing might also be a key to something very big. The discovery of those small things and of the ways they connect to one another and ripple through the whole web of life - that is one of the true beauties of nature. . ~Diana Beresford-Kroeger~
