All sporting codes are working closely with Government and Health organisations to... ensure community sport continues to be a safe environment for all players and families. This weekend's games WILL GO AHEAD as scheduled Magpie families are asked to continue to follow return to play protocols put in place at both Memorial Oval and all away grounds. REMINDER: * One parent ONLY per player, wherever possible. * Minimise car pooling of players from different households. * Please get in, play, leave - do not hang around after games finish. * Ensure you follow all COVID protocols and follow directions of club officials at all grounds. GREAT NEWS - BILL IS BACK Our fantastic Auskick Co ordinator Billy Webb will be back at Memorial Oval this Sunday from 8:30am - 10:00am to run a Mighty Magpie Clinic.... 21.01.2022 The Committee of Ingleburn Magpies JAFC are closely monitoring the situation as it unfolds with regards to Community Sport and the upcoming AFL season in light ...of COVID-19 restrictions and recommendations. At this stage there has been no announcement made on plans for the 2020 season, however once provided these will be shared with our families and members. In the meantime, training will continue as planned. We ask that parents and players follow hygiene guidelines from the World Health Organisation, including drinking from your own water bottle washing of hands before and after play if your child is unwell that they do not attend training. The health and safety of our players and families is paramount. We respect families decisions in this current climate. Please contact us on [email protected] should you have any questions.

17.01.2022 SEASON 2020 POSTPONED TO A LATER DATE It is with great sadness that due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak in Sydney, Western Sydney Juniors Competition Round 1 fixture (17 19 July) will be postponed and rescheduled to a later date in the season (to be advised) Auskick and games scheduled for Round 1 (Friday and Sunday) will not take place. ... We will also ensure that we continue to adhere to the return to play protocols put in place and monitor the local health climate closely. 15.01.2022 COVID 19 UPDATE Ingleburn Magpies JAFC along with all Sydney Junior AFL Clubs are monitoring developments with the current COVID19 pandemic. Meetings between the AFL and health authorities are taking place regularly to monitor any changes in the situation and to consider implementing any further measures. AFL Sydney Juniors are also monitoring the situation as it relates to School closures and the impact of any closures may have on our Community Leagues, Clubs and Auskick cen...tres. As such, AFL Sydney Juniors are currently working with State/Territory bodies and Affiliates to develop recommended guidelines around a range of scenarios, in the event matches need to be delayed or cancelled. Further detail around these guidelines will be provided in the coming days. We will continue to take the advice of the Government and the World Health Organisation and will make preparations based on that advice. And we will continue to review our position, and will update the football community accordingly. Our game is strong and resilient and we will work through whatever challenge is ahead of our football community. AFL Sydney Juniors

03.01.2022 WE ARE SO EXCITED to Launch MAG-FIT. A great way to keep fit, focused and look after yourself both physically and mentally. Thank you to @JadeMorton for the group name a clear winner in our Members voting. This initiative was well supported when we first suggested it as an outdoor activity for parents whilst our kids trained. Now, in our new environment of social distancing everyone can take advantage. Parents, players and family members.... Thank you to our Club sponsor All About Balance and Fitness for co ordinating this initiative. AFL Season is ON HOLD; but that's no reason to put a hold on your fitness, or on your families fitness! Where there's a will there's a way, we're here to get you moving in the comfort of your own home, with your own family, with or without equipment and having a whole lot of fun! We are working out the final details - but we are looking to launch this next Thursday. The aim is to train together (same night and time) and then check in with each other. We have been offered a discounted session fee of $9,95 per week plus daily workouts we can do at home. Please feel free to share this with family and friends. We will also offer this to other Junior AFL clubs if any of their members are interested.
