Fifty people have died and almost 27,000 have been diagnosed with influenza in NSW this year. Book your flu shot now, it is recommended for ALL people from 6 months of age.

25.01.2022 This afternoons storm has unfortunately left us without power, forcing us to close. My apologies to all the affected members of our Ingleburn GP family, both staff and patients. Our reception has been working hard to contact everyone to reschedule appointments. We will be back up and running tomorrow!

21.01.2022 As it becomes apparent the coronavirus is spreading in the community, Ingleburn GP is taking every precaution to protect you, your family and our team. It is for this reason we are implementing a policy of requiring everybody to wear a mask when attending the practice. Your local chemist will be able to help you buy one. Where possible, we will also be trying to do most consults via telephone to comply with social distancing recommendations. Thank you for helping do your bit in keeping our community safe!

16.01.2022 FACE MASKS, PHONE CONSULTATIONS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING/SELF-ISOLATION With the recent outbreak of COVID-19 in our local area, now is the time to remind everybody that PHONE consultations are REQUIRED for all people with cold & flu symptoms or unexplained fevers. All other non-urgent consultations will be asked to move to phone consultations to minimise risk to all. ... Those whove had close contact with a positive COVID-19 case or been to the Crossroads Hotel between July 3 - 10 (or other identified hot spot) are required to self-isolate for 14 days AND get tested. 15.01.2022 COVID-19 Update: Everyone who went to the Crossroads pub between July 3 and July 10 is now being advised to self-isolate for a fortnight, starting on the day they last visited it. Even if you get a negative test, that does not mean you are out of the woods, chief health officer Dr Kerry Chant said today. A negative result does not mean you can breach self-isolation. (Source news.com.au)... If the above applies to you, please follow the recommendations and help protect yourself and your loved ones. 04.01.2022 *Coronavirus Update* Please phone us on 02 87111808 if: - you have travelled overseas in the last 4 weeks and have upper respiratory symptoms - had contact with a known confirmed Coronavirus infected person... Our doctors will organise a referral direct to a designated testing site. You can then call ahead to the testing site and notify them of your arrival. This will help minimise risk of spread to others by avoiding waiting in reception and streamline testing. Laverty Pathology in Oxford Rd Ingleburn is our local designated testing facility.
