22.01.2022 Have you missed us? We have missed you all and hope you have all stayed safe during this unprecedented time. We are looking forward to seeing you all back when we start with dates still being confirmed, however online registrations open on 1st August. Before we can confirm dates we need to hold the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM will be held on 23 July 2020, venue to be confirmed.... All positions on the Committee are open for nominations, so we ask that anyone interested in joining attend the AGM, or contact the sitting Committee members to obtain information. Further, even if you are not interested in becoming a Committee member your presence at the AGM would be welcomed. See you all again soon and hopefully introducing some new Committee members

21.01.2022 Good Morning All Parents and Athletes Exciting news Our season will commence on 9 October 2020 at 6pm. Registrations are open so please click on the link and follow the prompts. Parents please don’t forget that you can use your Active Kids Rebate Voucher. Fees are the same as last year.... https://memberdesq.sportstg.com/index.cfm The Committee has some more exciting news for all out Athletes, all Athletes you register this year will receive a new uniform, which has been kindly sponsored by Ingleburn RSL and Tabatinga. Due to COVID-19 unfortunately Athletes will not be able to try the uniforms on we will be shortly putting up a sizing chart so you can check sizes. Parents, we will be updating this Facebook page regularly with all the new COVID-19 Rules and Regulations and this coming Season we will need your help more than ever. We are looking forward to seeing you all again this Season. If you have any question please send a message or comment and on of the Committee will respond.

20.01.2022 Good Evening Parents and Athletes We have been informed via Council that tomorrow night, 13 March 2019, will be our last night of competition and Council is unable to extend our Season. The Committee wants to thank everyone for the Season we have been able to hold due to many cancellations that were beyond our control.... See you tomorrow night for our last night. Thank you

18.01.2022 Good Afternoon Parents and Athletes, Please be advised that athletics WILL NOT be run tonight. We have been to the ground and the photos attached show that our ...shot put and long jump area are under water and the track is water logged and would be dangerous for Athletes. We will be back next week, starting at 6:30pm with our A Program. Please contact the Committee if you have any concerns.

I’m so sorry for those athletes that did amazing jobs just to get to state n for it to be taking away.. To the athletes parents that have order state stuff you will need to ring them up n see if you can arrange somethink.

13.01.2022 Good Evening Athletes and Parents Due to the weather we’ve been experiencing over the past 2 weeks our Ground has experienced some damage and our track has washed away. So, we will need to cancel tomorrow nights competition (Friday 21st February), however I will be at the Ground tomorrow night with Medal Day forms as we will need these returned next Friday.... 11.01.2022 Dear Athletes and Parents I have spoken with Council this morning and Bob Prenter Reserve is still closed and with more rain expected this afternoon and over the week, we will NOT be competing tonight, 6 March 2020. MEDAL DAY - CANCELLATION... With the Reserve closed and the insufficient interest in Medal Day, we will not be holding Medal Day this year. All parents who have paid the entry fee, this will be refunded to you next Friday, 13 March 2020. This Season has not been the greatest for us, but we want to Thank all of you for your understanding and fingers crossed we will be back next week to compete.

10.01.2022 Good evening Parents and Athletes Apologies for being a little quiet, especially with our Season usually starting soon, but a lot has been going on behind the scenes!!! We held our AGM last month and with Kasey deciding not to run for President again, Ray O’Neill was voted in a Club President, we also welcomed Daryl Wray as Club Secretary, it is nice to see a new face on the Committee.... Everyone should have received an email from NSW Little Athletics advising Registrations opened on 15 August and to start registering. This was great news however for our Club we still do not have a definite starting date yet from Council. We have been advised it may not be until the end of September, but they will get back to us. In the interim while we wait for Council, parents should organise your Sports Voucher through Servives NSW but don't register until you hear from us, The Committee, because we want to ensure that should our Season not proceed you will get your money back. 09.01.2022 Little Athletics NSW have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 State Relay Championships, scheduled to be held in November. This decision has not been... made lightly, but it is in line with the current NSW Government and NSW Department of Health restrictions regarding COVID-19. Little Athletics NSW believes that centres and members will appreciate the early notice of this cancellation. Little Athletics NSW will continue to provide updates about the impacts of COVID-19 and the 2020/21 season. 08.01.2022 STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS THIS WEEKEND - CANCELLED Good afternoon Parents and Athletes, We have received important information from Little Athletics NSW in regards to the State Championships that were to be held this weekend at Homebush... "Little Athletics NSW has been closely monitoring and evaluating developments regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak for the past week or more, with advice being sourced daily from the Australian and NSW Health departments. News has just been received that a meeting today of State and Federal Governments has agreed to issue advice to cancel ALL public gatherings of over 500 people. As a result of this advice, we now confirm that this weekend’s State Championships WILL NOT be taking place. We have no further information at this stage, but will make further announcements about centre competitions, selections for the Australian Little Athletics Championships and other relevant matters, at the earliest possible opportunity."

06.01.2022 Dear Parents and Athletes We promise this will be the last update in regards to the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Meeting is tomorrow night at INGLEBURN RSL CLUB - 7:30pm - KAKODA ROOM (upstairs). For anyone who is not a member of the RSL upon arrival please request Ray O’Neill be paged to sign you in.... 06.01.2022 Little Athletics NSW would like to provide our Centres and Members with an update in relation to Championship (Zone/Region/State) events for the 2020/2021 seaso...n. The Covid-19 Pandemic will have an impact on how we deliver our championship events this season. The board is committed to delivering quality events that keep our members safe. The staff and championships committee have been considering a number of options to achieve this. Whilst we currently do not have the final details we would like to share some of the details with you all: The traditional Zone and Region Championships will not take place this season. A number of State Qualifying meets will be held in the early part of 2021, most likely February. A State Championship Event will be held in March. The full details of the above will be announced in the coming weeks.

06.01.2022 Good Afternoon all Parents and Athletes Tonight we will be running Program B, this means that we will start at 6pm for all Under 9's and up so they can complete their walks. Tots to U'8's will start at 6:30pm. Reminder, can we ensure we all have our numbers pinned to on all four corners to assist in timekeeping.... Further, we still have numerous trophies that from last season that have not been picked up. If you know any Athletes that have not returned this season can you please let them know we are holding their trophies. One last thing, uniforms are available from the canteen but we ask that if you still need to pick up your uniform you arrive early so we can still commence on time. Ingleburn Little Athletics achieved an enormous milestone this year celebrating 40 years in the local community. This financial support will help continue to build grassroots athletics in the Macarthur region in order to ensure the continued success for many years to come. Ingleburn RSL Club President, Terry Goldsworthy said the Little Athletics support embodies’ purpose to help young Australians lead healthier, happier lives adding we’re extremely excited to help Aussie athletes across the local area pursue their personal bests through Ingleburn RSL Little Athletics. We know it’s been a challenging time for everyone involved in sport and we’re pleased to play our part to assist local clubs and Aussie champions alike. Even though the storm that was brewing by-passed us, there was plenty of electrical activity, which is a danger for activity in an open area, which our ground is. ...
