17.01.2022 RETURN TO THE POOL UPDATE As a committee, we are in contact with Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre - City of Stirling management, yet at present there would be no sessions available for group bookings. ... This is under review on a week to week basis, as TTAC work with their numbers of general public on their current booking system, and the situation may well change markedly by the middle of June, when the maximum numbers restriction might increase. So, in the meantime, until we hear further from TTAC, if anybody wants a swim at the pool, you are able to log into their booking system and book yourself in for an hour session, either during the week or on a weekend. Whether for fun or challenge, everyone turned in amazing results! 3.6km Solo Swimmers Dom - 0.59 James - 1.02... Annie - 1.04 Mark - 1.05 Ian (24th year) - 1.06 Pamela - 1.08 Max - 1.08 Tom - 1.09 Will - 1.24 1 Mile Swimmers Kerry - 0.38 Jo - 1.00 We also adopted Andrea from the Fremantle Triathlon Club - 1.01 It was a great event, a wonderful weekend, perfect conditions and a great barbecue. 02.01.2022 Introducing the Head Coach: Graham Senders. Recently taking over from Trevor Wainstein, who has done a great job for the last 10 years. You may be surprised however to learn that Graham was head coach for about 4 years before Trevor. Graham competed in swimming as a kid and was in an elite program for three years. He got involved with Masters swimming in WA in 1984. He's coached at Beatty Park Masters, Claremont Masters and was a head coach in the Swimming WA system for six ...years, coaching a number of promising junior swimmers to State Championship medals. "We are at an exciting time with Inglewood Masters and I think it will be fun in the next little while, at least I hope so." #swimming #mastersswimmingwa #inglewoodmasters #swimcoach
