21.01.2022 We have a future star in our midst! Four year old Maddy Paton performed a stirring rendition of 'Give me a Home Among the Gum Trees' to conclude our celebrations today. The gathered crowd were in awe of Maddy's confidence and talent. Well done Maddy!

16.01.2022 It was a great turn out today at our annual Australia Day celebrations. A special thanks to our guest speaker, champion cyclist Robin Daubeny. Congratulations to all Loddon Shire award recipients, and in particular local community legend Joe Watts, who was honoured with an Award. Local students received awards for colouring and literary achievements from the Loddon Shire Council, presented by Local Councillor Colleen Condliffe.... A special mention to Maddy Paton for her amazing performance of "Give me a home among the gum trees". What a star! The children very much enjoyed the swimming carnival - thank you Alice! 16.01.2022 There were some very tired and happy children this evening, after several hours on the Rock Wall, Bungee Jump and Frozen Jumping Castle. Huge thanks to The Zone Fun Park for providing such safe entertainment for our Christmas Festival.

14.01.2022 Our annual Australia Day BBQ and celebration is one of the highlights of our Lions Club calendar. Our team loves bringing this event to our local community - and we have a great time doing so. If you'd like to get involved and be part of a great team, we'd love to hear from you. 14.01.2022 PLEASE SHARE On Tuesday 7/4 (yes tomorrow) at 1pm the Inglewood Community Kitchen will be outside the Town Hall on Verdon Street. Bags of mixed groceries will be available for $2 (limit 1 bag / 1 person at start, depending on demand). Please have correct money, be aware of social distancing - 2 metres between people. We will be operating out of a vehicle. The food is from Bridgewater Helping Hands and the money goes towards paying for the fuel.



10.01.2022 A big thank you to Alice Leech for organising another wonderful Swimming Carnival today at the Australia Day event today at the Inglewood Swimming Pool. The participation in a variety of events demonstrated great sportsmanship. Well done to all competitors. Medals were awarded to: 5-6 year olds - Charlie Ward & Jenson Birthisel... 7-8 year olds - Gracie Noonan 9-10 year olds - Lucy Rollinson Open & Diving - Halle Birthisel Thank you to all volunteers and the Life Guards for ensuring this Australia Day tradition was continued on into a new decade! 08.01.2022 The jolly man in red visited us at the Festival. Arriving on the Inglewood Fire Truck, Santa was escorted to his special marquee where he greeted all the children and gave them a gift. Santa and his helpers did an amazing job in providing all 180 children with a beautiful gift. Thank you to our sponsors who provided the gifts, and to Santa and his wonderful team - Joanne, Tania, Brooke, Izzy, Jayda, Emily, Samuel and Zali. Great job all!

07.01.2022 Hopefully the Community Kitchen will be providing a takeaway lunch as of Tuesday 21/4, this will depend on volunteers being available. We also hope to provide a takeaway lunch every Tuesday till further notice. We will also have the $2 bags of groceries available. Correct money would be appreciated.... 07.01.2022 Congratulations to Joe Watts on being honoured today with an Australia Day Award for his amazing contributions to the Inglewood CFA over 48 years. It was wonderful to see Joe and his family and CFA colleagues celebrating this well deserved recognition. Congrats Joe!

02.01.2022 Our guest speaker for Australia Day is Robin Daubeny. Robin is a former Australian Professional Cycling Champion and for fourteen years was recognised as one of the top professional cyclists in Australia. Robin was an honorary ambassador at World Expo 88 and is an Australia Day Ambassador. We look forward to welcoming Robin to Inglewood on Sunday.
