19.01.2022 Made it down to the opening of General Public Food Co and so happy I did!! The place was buzzing and full at 8:30pm and we managed to grab a table to pick out four sour dough pizzas! Mexican Pizza loaded with Salsa, black bean, guacamole and sour cream Prawn Pizza topped with courgette and chilli... Beef Brisket Pizza with Smokey BBQ sauce, caramelised onion, sour cream and jalapeos Pumpkin and goats cheese Pizza with caramelised onion, pine nuts, basil pesto and rocket My favourite was definitely the Beef Brisket! The pumpkin could have done with more goats cheese (me being picky really ) but really such a great selection of pizzas - everything looks so good! I cant wait to try the desserts pizzas! Overall its an awesome addition to the Inglewood strip and Im hoping it outlasts all previous businesses there!! 12.01.2022 Sweet Jesus. Is it me or has Finlay & Sons no 917 bulked up on the Chicken burger?! This is hands down my favourite dish of theirs and actually the best crumbed Chicken Burger in the Wood! It comes with two ginormous breasts with pickled slaw, lime aioli and chips! I literally had to take a breast out it was too big! Hahaha... Also ordered the Goodness Bowl - a mix of avocado, kale, beetroot hummus, quinoa, cauliflower and pickle. It was a dreary and wet evening but that didnt stop the crowds from dining at this amazing brewery for dinner. Modern and delicious flavours on the menu, it might just become my next regular ... 04.01.2022 Went venturing down Mt Lawley to find somewhere Ive never eaten before and stumbled across newly opened Antep Mangal - traditional Turkish cuisine. Soooo delicious! We shared between two: the Mixed Adana Kebab plate with lamb kofta, chicken and steak with rice and salads which came with a starter of pita and tzatziki and roast capsicum dip.
