16.01.2022 What do Wynyard residents think about the proposed sale of public land at Ballad Avenue (between Table Cape Primary School, the Inglis River, and Hales Street)? On Council's public notice page, it says that it has commenced this process because "Council’s Draft Settlement Strategy states that whilst there is enough vacant land to accommodate the number of lots needed in Wynyard, there is an unmet demand for low density living (large backyards and rural areas)... Initial conce...pts demonstrate capacity for up to 33 lots in the subdivision." It is expected that Council will make the decision soon. https://www.warwyn.tas.gov.au//sale-of-public-land-ballad/
