13.01.2022 Will I bruise? One of the most common questions I get asked by my injectable clients. Considering the complexity of the facial vascular system bruising is a common side effect when getting injectable treatments. But don't despair! Here are my top 5 tips for pre and post care that you can do to reduce your chances of bruising! - AT LEAST 48 hours before your treatment avoid alcohol! The longer you can avoid it the better - before treatment avoid vasodilators - these include...: fish oil, green tea, ibuprofen, aspirin, some prescribed drugs, and garlic! - get your hands on Arnica or Bromelain supplements and take them for a week prior to injections - *hint* pineapple is a natural source of Bromelain! - follow my post care instructions! I have developed them to ensure best results - use your post treatment aftercare, the arnica cream contained within will be your best friend! Be aware that bruising can occur with any needle insertion into the skin.
