16.01.2022 Lip enhancement facts. Yes they hurt. However we have tools in the box to help alleviate the pain. Yes they bruise. We like to believe they won’t, but they do. Of course we don’t want to bruise your new lips but sometimes it’s unavoidable considering how many capillaries there are within and surrounding the lips. Yes they swell. Sometimes a little. Sometimes A LOT. Be reassured that they will settle. Again there are a few things you can do to help with swelling. Yes they... feel lumpy. Let them settle for a few days and if you’re still concerned speak to your injector within two weeks. Yes complications do happen. Make sure you’re fully aware of the risks and complications and that your injector is well equipped with the necessary medical supplies and knowledge to manage complications. If you’re blessed to walk away without any of these it doesn’t mean they won’t happen at the next treatment. Happy Friday (avoiding alcohol 24 hours before your appointment is a good start)
