25.01.2022 Unless you are travelling for essential work and need somewhere to stay, we are unable to accept bookings at the Shack until government restrictions are lifted. Don't worry though, the little Shack will be waiting for you when we all return to 'normal'! Stay happy, stay healthy and for now... stay home!

20.01.2022 R E V I E W S / / We were very sorry to hear that these guests had a painful encounter with the fire place rock and have now included a warning on our FAQs. "The Shack is a quirky little place, cobbled together with all sorts of materials. The flooring is uneven in some places and as one guest said there is a fire place rock which sticks out of the floor and on which you may stub your toe(s) so please be careful!" December 2019 Luana, Jess, Anna and Dad (Kevo) It...s our last day here. Were packing up to leave. Weve had a beautiful stay, it was lovely and warm for the most part and the shack was very cosy but there was a very very painful rock that lives at the base of the fire place, its big and sticks out of the ground, Ive already kicked my toe TWICE, worst pain ever. BEWARE that fire place rock. Yesterday wed just got home from the beach and we walked inside to a king skink sun backing in the round window, so we feed it banana and it eight all of it. It was amazy. December 2019 Leonard, Martie & Claire Best Christmas ever. Just what we needed! Really, really special. The uneven floor at the fire place needs a special mention! Apparently there have been a few other victims bloody toe and all, still an amazing experience. Will be back. Thanx.

Liz, Flora, Tilly and Rachel stayed with us in May this year and this is what they thought about their stay at the Shack: "We had an absolutely fabulous time! The big bed was a highlight and we had the most incredible view when sitting in bed. A highlight of our stay was being able to walk from here to Smiths and Yallingup beach an after a day of exercise we were able to come back to the warm Shack and enjoy a game of Rum-o or chess with a cup of tea. Unfortunately, we were only here for two nights! But next time we come we will have to come when its a big hotter and make great use out of that outdoor shower We loved our stay here and look forward to coming back!"
