24.01.2022 Quad bikes are one of the smallest four-wheeled vehicles on and off WA roads. While they have the benefit of four wheels, they share a lot of risks with motorbikes and bicycles. Quad bikes have become increasingly popular and are now being used by farmers, local governments, search and rescue teams, recreation clubs and tourism companies to assist with a variety of activities. Yet, it's estimated that the economic cost of quad bike related fatalities and injuries in Australia is approximately $204 million per year.
