23.01.2022 Today would have been the start of the 2020 National Inline Hockey Championships but sadly, due to COVID-19, there will be no Championships this year. 2020 so far has been a year like no other and has delivered a great deal of hardship, disappointments and frustrations. In terms of our sport across the country we have seen the cancellation of Oceania and State Championships, local competitions and leagues to varying extents. This time of the year has always been special withi...n state inline hockey calendars and whilst we will not see the crowning of National Champions this year, it still doesn’t stop us all from thinking about how good our sport is and celebrating what this time of year would normally deliver. Over the next eight (8) days, we will be posting a range of photos and video clips from past National Championships as a means of celebrating everything good about our sport and recognising our National Championships and all that it brings in terms of skills, competition and friendship. 23.01.2022 Having recently been gifted with over 300 DVD's of past nationals i felt it is timely that we share some of the games and photos with our members . There are too many games to keep puting full games on our facebook page so keep an eye out for a link to Youtube where all the games will be loaded in their original glory for all to watch.That being said there will be a couple posted here. 13.01.2022 We all have amazing memories from Nationals and every year we add to the list .My most memorable moment from 2008 came courtesy of one of my favorite expat Canadians Peter Turbach ,this clip has gone down in youtube folklaw as a must see for all our worldwide Inline hockey family. I often get asked at worlds if i know the guy from Victoria that missed the penalty shot and necked himself on the crossbar "Know him" i would say "he is my line mate and a good friend" So Peter here it is again for those new to this amazing sport .Here is my buddy Peter Turbach doing an amazing impersonation of a clothes peg. 11.01.2022 With SkateNSW unable to sanction any events during 2020, Max Arena stepped up and provided the inline hockey community within Sydney and beyond, weekly leagues ...across three tiers of competitions i.e. X-League Division 3; X-League Division 2 and the top tier - Inline Super League [ISL]. Inline Hockey NSW congratulates and thanks Max Arena, its staff and those stoic officials who have endured many challenges throughout the year to help facilitate a high level of weekly competition to many members of Inline Hockey NSW and associated clubs. 08.01.2022 Notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting (AM) of the Inline Hockey Australia Commissioned Officials’ Committee (ILHACOC) will be held on Saturday 20 February 2021 commencing at 2pm via a zoom meeting. (This AM has been delayed due to COVID 19) Registration to attend will only be available to 2021 current financial members of ILHA. Requests to receive a zoom invitation can be made from Monday 11th January 2021 up to 4pm Friday 12th February 2021. Email registration is ...to [email protected] with ILHA Accredited Officials Annual Meeting invitation request to be included in the email subject line. Please note: Voting State Delegates must provide a letter of authority from their State Association indicating their proxy and that person’s email address for the zoom meeting invitation if they do not intend to be participating in the zoom meeting. This needs to be emailed to the Chair of ILHA by 4pm Friday 29th January 2021 at [email protected] Email invitations (with instructions to the zoom meeting) will be forwarded commencing Monday 15th February 2021. Should any registered club wish to have any matter included in the Agenda of the Annual Meeting, that registered club shall give written notice thereof to Inline Hockey Australia at [email protected] no later than 4pm on Monday 11th January 2021.
