03.01.2022 Pictured is a steering column from 2010 Mercedes W204 which had a defective electronic steering lock (ESL/ELV) and was causing the car not to start or even display dash lights. Our customer chose to have an emulator installed which fits in same spot as the original ESL. If you're experiencing unusual symptoms from your late model Mercedes, have it checked out before it becomes a bigger problem.
