19.01.2022 So this a really good analogy for the Cone Valve Forks, the biggest problem is for sure the cone, the red cone with .3mm float produces 4 times the dampening of the base valve, the base valve is significantly larger allowing really nice flow especially the base valve found in the cones but it's not utilised! it's so soft and user dampened due to the forces of the which makes them harsh. 11.01.2022 Rmz450 So the green line has been re valved by someone else interstate and is behaving exactly how the customer described it. With compression clickers c-13 a...nd rebound r-16 nothing the customer could do by screwing them in was going to clean this up. The blue line is also c-13 r-16 but with a new shim stack and fresh fluids. Ironically if I had have run the dyno in Peak velocity plot (PvP) rather than Constant velocity Plot (CVP) the PvP trace would have been smoothed out and not looked as bad or given a true picture of what’s going on.
