07.01.2022 Do you know the difference between Anxiety and Depression? Both involve dysregulation of the nervous system. Anxiety is where you are overstimulated and can't come back to calm, whereas depression is a shutting down or withdrawing. It is possible to experience both of these at the same time. I know I've been there and it wasn't fun. What I did learn though is that anxiety and depression are symptoms of the same thing. Trauma. Mine was childhood trauma but it can be from any t...ime in your life including being in the womb. Trauma is trapped and stuck energy from an experience. It compromises our whole system and our bodies are constantly trying to find equilibrium. But when it gets too much symptoms appear to let you know something needs to be adjusted. The good news is that Energy Healing can find and release the trauma. Its like letting air out of an overblown balloon. Releasing the pressure allows you to feel like yourself again, to find joy and a sense of relief that you haven't experienced in a long time.
