22.01.2022 How are you faring in these turbulent times? Humans are wired to want certainty and the things we have taken as certain are no longer. This is both an ending and a beginning. A time to grieve. And also to look towards an envisioned future as we walk this dark and challenging time together. You may suddenly have time on your hands or you may be more frantic than ever depending on your circumstances. I am looking to create some spaces for deep discussion and am curious to hear what topics are calling you at present. Please let me know so I can begin to create these spaces to connect, grieve and grow.

19.01.2022 I am blessed to love what I do and where I live. What I have done has changed over the years. For many years I worked as a physio, which I thoroughly enjoyed and which energized me, and also began to take a toll on my hands. Then I transitioned to working in health management which I also found fulfilling until there was a leadership change. Coaching literally found me at that point and it has been such a blessing. Had I not experienced these challenges, I may still be a phys...io. That is not in ANY way decrying physio it is a wonderful profession and I am so grateful for the decades I spent in that field. But I know all these things were part of the journey taking me to where I currently am. Without wanting to sound arrogant, I was good (not great!) in those other fields and yet from where I am now, I can sense they were part of an unfolding journey which continues still! Our current reality is one that is challenging EVERYONE in some way. It is hard and also there is a calling in this to wake up for each and everyone of us. Part of the population is being so overworked by this and others are being forced into quietitude. Both can be equally challenging spaces. They can bring out our ‘best’ and also make us see our shadows which we all have and which hold gifts and blessings if we are willing to own them. To question our why? If you are in that questioning space, I would like to help. I am making an offer to give a complementary online coaching session if you are. Covid 19 is giving us all the chance to really look at ourselves, our lives, our community and our planet and become more conscious custodians and stewards. Will you take up the offer to awaken and grow? Contact me if you are. See more

16.01.2022 We are all in a vulnerable and unknown space. So many swirling emotions and judgements. This is an FFT time for us all (F>%ing First Time!) and it’s calling us into daily FFTs as we navigate it. Brené Browns new podcast (thanks Emma Taylor and Sue Barford for the share) is such a gift to us all. Hope you can make time to listen. I’d love to hear your response? Much love

16.01.2022 I have a simple and yet profound question to pose that feels especially pertinent now. "What is your responsibility to do with your one precious life?' I'd love to chat about it..

14.01.2022 I have a dream of facilitating gatherings this year. Mmm, you might be thinking, timing not too good at present with Covid 19 and the urge for us to socially isolate as part of the process to limit the spread of the virus. But physically isolating ourselves does not equate to social isolation, it simply shifts the way we do connect. My dream includes both in person gatherings and online as both are important ways to connect, especially if you live 80kms form town as we do. I... am in the process of fine tuning my purpose and looking for skills to best facilitate the process. Doing this, I came across Priya Parker’s excellent book ‘The Art of Gathering.’ Sharing her entertaining TEDTalk in service of the need for powerful transformative connections. I’d love to hear your insights, especially in the area of healthy conflict and the concept of unhealthy peace. https://www.ted.com//priya_parker_3_steps_to_turn_everyday See more

14.01.2022 I have been so deeply touched by the responses I have received over the last 24 hours. Doubt has been a lifelong companion for me and one that I realise I have shamed over the years. It has me back as a small child in church and 'Doubting Thomas' being held up as a negative persona. In the we small hours of this morning I was online doing some coaching training with Thomas Hubl and he shared a concept that spoke right to the core of my being. Our shadow elements and our weakn...esses are our childhood superheros. At a time when we were small and vulnerable, totally at the behest of adults, all of us had things occur (even with the most loving parenting) that were beyond the ability of our nervous system to integrate. So we developed these superpowers and coping strategies to calm our bodies. All versions of fight, flight, freeze or tend and befriend. How clever we all were! So I 'd love to challenge you to some 'Home Play'. Take some time to lovingly be with those parts of yourself next time you feel triggered by another person or situation. You may want to imagine them as a smaller version of you and simply sit them on your lap and give them a hug and big thank you.I'd love to hear how you go. See more

06.01.2022 I am delighted and honoured to be a part of this online event on the 29th May organised by The Rural Woman and Bowabirds. Few will deny that we are in a crisis time. The Chinese symbol for this stands for both danger and opportunity. Come join this amazing group of people as we explore the possibilities together.

05.01.2022 Did you know that the best gift you can share with another is your open hearted presence? In these times of stress, that can be a challenge. If our presence is scattered and anxious, we can also spread THAT contagion. The Heart Math Quick Coherence technique is a beautiful tool to help you become a calm presence for others. Hope you enjoy it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zHuoU8yKLQ

05.01.2022 Looking forward to being part of this conversation at 6.15 tonight. Grateful to Jason Hardie for the opportunity

04.01.2022 I know this will be an amazing Masterclass. Josie McLean has intelligence, courage, wit and bucket loads of experience. I hope to be there too.

04.01.2022 Thank you to Matthew Fox for sharing this poem from Brother Richard Henrick's called Lock Down. Covid 19 is calling us to grow in awareness, to be able to hold paradox and polarity. This will be a future gift. Lockdown by Brother Richard: Yes there is fear. Yes there is isolation. Yes there is panic buying.... Yes there is sickness. Yes there is even death. But, They say that in Wuhan after so many years of noise You can hear the birds again. They say that after just a few weeks of quiet The sky is no longer thick with fumes But blue and grey and clear. They say that in the streets of Assisi People are singing to each other across the empty squares, keeping their windows open so that those who are alone may hear the sounds of family around them. They say that a hotel in the West of Ireland Is offering free meals and delivery to the housebound. Today a young woman I know is busy spreading fliers with her number through the neighbourhood So that the elders may have someone to call on. Today Churches, Synagogues, Mosques and Temples are preparing to welcome and shelter the homeless, the sick, the weary All over the world people are slowing down and reflecting All over the world people are looking at their neighbours in a new way All over the world people are waking up to a new reality To how big we really are. To how little control we really have. To what really matters. To Love. So we pray and we remember that Yes there is fear. But there does not have to be hate. Yes there is isolation. But there does not have to be loneliness. Yes there is panic buying. But there does not have to be meanness. Yes there is sickness. But there does not have to be disease of the soul See more

03.01.2022 Sharing this wonderful article on a true leader. This particular quote holding such power. To move from fear of letting others down to 'I started thinking how can I help them? What role could I play in making them better Rugby players? And the weight of expectation lifted from my shoulders. Much for all of us to learn from that. Thanks Berrick Barnes.

03.01.2022 "Thus each individual is at once the cause for the whole and is caused by the whole, and what is called existence is a vast body made up of an infinity of individuals all sustaining each other and defining each other. The cosmos is, in short, a self-creating, self-maintaining, and self-defining organism." What beautiful quote from Francis Dojun Cook on the Net of Indra from Hindu and Buddhist psychology. Its poignancy in our current reality is profound. If you are beginning to deeply ponder your part in that wonderful net, please take me up on the free coaching offer or simply to chat and be heard on how life is unfolding for you right now.

03.01.2022 Joseph Campbell has had a powerful influence on my life since my 30's. Sharing this for so many reasons. We are all on Hero's Journeys and especially now as a global collective. This is a deep time for reflection and change. Joe has a powerful line around 'Following Your Bliss' Have you been on that path? Or in a rut? This is a time when the planet is calling us all to do that. Sounds impossible you might say.IT IS NOT! And when you do. To again coin Joe Campbell 'The universe will open doors when there were only walls' My bliss is working with others so they can find and live their bliss! Remember those free coaching sessions are still available.

03.01.2022 How has your Hero's Journey been unfolding over the last weeks? Has it been a bumpy, tumultuous road or is life feeling simpler? If you are like me - there have been elements of both. Holding those polarities can feel challenging. The cultural storyline of rugged individuality is being severely shaken and for that I am grateful. It is a serious illusion to see ourselves as separate or at the 'Top of the Foodchain'. A itsy bitsy virus has shown us that well and truly! We are deeply interdependent and there is such beauty in that. And it can be a huge challenge to let go of another powerful illusion - that we are in control. I drew a guiding card this morning and it feel right to share it with these ponderings. Enjoy seeing what arises when you do indeed Let Go. I'd love to hear what feels like is in need of letting go of in your life.

01.01.2022 Primary healthcare at its playful best!

01.01.2022 I am back after a year that deeply shifted me. Illness, moving my parents into aged care and the sale of my childhood home, the death of my dear father and my father-in-law all amidst a severe drought here at home. Oh and turning 60! All this held in the deeply shifting tides of our current global situation. As above, so below. We are all being called to awaken as a species to step beyond our childish consumerism to become planetary custodians. We truly are all interconnect...ed and our collective wellbeing calls for us to step into that new way of being. Ancient wisdom through a modern lens of global connectivity and a quantum sense of reality. And each of us is a vital part of this collective. The questions, answers and actions that are needed will not be ‘Top Down’ we each need to play our unique part. And there is trauma and healing as part of that journey. A willingness to let go, to not know and to continue to turn up. To reconnect with the unique core impulse of your being. That reconnection is a journey I feel honoured to be able to steward in my coaching work. It is a shedding, a deep listening, a reawakening and it is beautiful. Each of us is needed to fully turn up in our uniqueness for the exciting and unknown journey that awaits us. Come join me! See more
