07.01.2022 As I remember last Christmas we were entering a wave of change. We moved house, my sister Tiziana with her daughter Crystal came to spend the most unpredictable New Years with us together with My cousins Giada and her friend from Melbourne. plans kept on evolving and every minute brought in a new friend or a new adventure. My brother Attilio and his wife Irene ,Alexia and Marcus also stayed with us in preparation for Franks big 50th birthday. I thought life was hectic then un...til the universe had another plan ! Covid-19 Wow! who would have thought that our reality was going to turn upside down. Travel plans had to be cancelled, courses went on line and face to face teaching become a thing of the past. The older generation are now forced to learn how to use their phone or computer to talk to their loved ones and to check in if they want to enter a store. We are also becoming a cashless society! Life is a roller coaster of uncertainty, unpredictability that trying to plan anything has its risk factors attached to it. Resilience, trust in one self, flexibility and acceptance one of the moment crucial values developed to staying afloat in charge of what life can possibly bring next. What we have learned in one year has been lifetimes of lessons. Now ... I’m exhausted but invigorated with the changes and we are only getting started . God only gives us what we can handle so what else can 2021 bring us? Hold on tight and keep laughing for we are only getting started. With that I would like you all to remember that our loved ones are our tribe so reach out to those who are alone and need to feel connected this Christmas. Love is the glue that keeps us moving forward Love all humanity and sprinkle your kindness onto this new world See more
