25.01.2022 Congratulations to IWHCA representative Benji Harris from Balmain Tigers for taking out the best bowler award for the 2015 Foster Shield District competition Benji was presented with his award at the SCG last week A happy young cricketer and another big season ahead for the 2016 Rep teams!
25.01.2022 IMPORTANT: Callan park will be closed for upgrades in December / January, and we will be moving games from this ground to other venues. We will advise of final changes in the coming days.
25.01.2022 Congratulations to the 2015 IWHCA Foster Shield squad who played in the kookaburra cup in Canberra this week. They have won three out of four games in the under 12 Plate competition and will play in their final match in the morning. We are all off to the Kingston hotel tonight to celebrate a great trip away with over 200 Concord Briars players and families Well done Foster Shield squad!!

12.01.2022 IWHCA Martin Shield Minor Premiers 2012! The IWHCA Senior Rep team played away at Weldon oval on Sunday. After winning the toss we batted first on a very tricky pitch and posted 9/222 (A.Kipper 38, T.Kuryluk 38)... After our 55 overs in reply, Manly were all out for 125 (B.Chandio 4/45, I.Janda 2/39, D.Roberts 2/17) With that win we finished top of our pool and will advance into the finals ... Well done lads. Looking forward the first final in January
11.01.2022 Some highlights from our rep teams! congratulations to Cooper Edwards who broke not only an all time association batting record but a Creak Shield district cricket record with 168 runs today. other highlights Blaise McKee in the under 15 Weblin shield with 108*. young spinners Benji Harris last round tok 6/13 and today Edward Carter with 5/17. 05.01.2022 Hi all The campbell park grounds have been turned into something more of a Vegetable patch compared to the first class cricket facility that we are used to (yes, it is THAT Bad - thanks Canada Bay Council) So all games at this ground will be moved. for the week of January 12th, I have already made changes and called captains to instruct. The changes are:... A Grade - BOBs vs LBCC - Easton Park Rozelle C Grade - Shanachies vs RHCC 4 - St Lukes 2 Concord Will see how the fields improve before making further changes to venues in coming weeks.

04.01.2022 Dear All, The hot weather should not escalate to anything dangerous today, however we would like all captains to exercise some common sense and consider the health of all players over and above the contest. A southerly change is predicted early afternoon, however weatehr forecasts can be wrong.... If any team is certain they should stop play, and a dispute arises, I am happy to receive a phone call. The judgement will be made based on the feedback i have recieved from the other committee members who are amongst it. Most importantly, enjoy your day!

01.01.2022 Go IWHCA!! Our representtaive lads playing in the Martin Shield played away against Georges River at Jubilee Oval. We lost the toss and were sent into bat, but we were bowled out in the 54th over for 176 (Ian Janda 45, Matt Austin 34, Andrew kipper 27). No Fear!, in reply we rolled them for 142 in the 46th over (Dave Roberts 5-32 off 17 including 7 maidens, and Ben Hancock 3-36 off 8 overs)... somebody stop us!
