24.01.2022 PROJECT 4: Glycol Chiller Upgrade. This bad boy keeps our fermenters at the right temperature so the yeast make delicous beer. Its has almost 3x the cooling capacity of our previous chiller meaning we can now cool 3x as many fermenters which eventually will mean we can brew 3x as much beer. 20.01.2022 PROJECT 3: Solar Panels. With no gas line on our street we use a alot of electricity for heating and cooling throughout the brewing process. The more we brew, the bigger the bill and the bigger the impact on our environment. Since the day we opened we made the decision to carbon offset 100% of our electricity so we could feel a bit better about it, but what we really wanted was solar panels. Now that day has finally come and our warehouse is sporting 32KW of panels and a 25KW inverter such that our brewdays will largely be powered by that big fusion reactor in the sky. Its a win for the environment and a win for lowering our operating costs which is a win for you! 18.01.2022 I do not fear The Darkness is now available! Our Russian Imperial Stout aged in rye whiskey barrels comes in at 9.5% and is our 100th beer release! Its rich, decadent and rewarding with coffee and chocolate flavours from the roasted malts as well as massive port vibes and a subtle rye spiciness. Get settled in. 14.01.2022 Our #beerstreet has been a blast these last couple of days. With all the extra space it means we have changed the way we handle bookings. Here's the run down: -We only take bookings for groups of 6 or more and only for inside seating. -Large groups bookings of 20 to 50 can now be taken, email us at least a week in advance with all the details. -Outside seating is for walk-ins only. You cannot book an outdoor table... -If you book inside and then arrive and want to sit outside, we can move you outside if there is space available. Bookings can be done through the bar phone (best choice) or via email (if it is a week in advance). Facebook and Insta work too, but they get checked last.
