25.01.2022 We all have an Inner Presents, a deeper essence that is part of 'the light within' and it's source gives us a sense of inspiration, intuition and awakened consciousness. When we get caught up with our thinking we get cut off from this Infinite Intelligence. Looking for answers within, sitting with a quiet mind allows this wisdom, this inner strength to flow through, this awakening that is already here. So regardless of what 'problem' we think we have, our only real problem ...is being cut off from this inner wisdom. feelings of peace and well being. We are conditioned to look without for our answers, to learn more, to be more.....when simply the space within us is the heart of Inner Presents! Here is to your best inner self. 03.01.2022 Sometimes it's hard speaking our truth, I want to be liked, not cause waves or keep seeing friends and family even though they are causing me some grief! So what to do? First, check out how you are feeling! Know that healthy boundaries come from relationships based on mutual respect, where we know we both deserve to get our needs met. Setting boundaries is essential if we want to be both physically and emotionally healthy.... Creating healthy boundaries is empowering. By recognising the need to set and enforce limits, you protect self-esteem, maintain self-respect and enjoy healthy relationships. Unhealthy boundaries can cause anxiety, dependency and even stress-induced physical illness. A lack of boundaries is like leaving the door to your home unlocked, any-one can enter at will including unwelcome guests. However, being too rigid and turning people away can lead to isolation, like living in a locked house, no-one can get in and you can't get out! What are boundaries? They are rules or limits that a person creates to identify for themselves what are reasonable safe ways for other people to behave around them and how they will respond when someone steps outside those limits. If you or someone you know could benefit from a short workshop on Creating Healthy Boundaries, come along on Tuesday 11th June 7pm - 9pm at the Theosophical Society 310 South tce Adelaide This is an interactive, fun meetup group called A HAPPY SECOND LIFE! $10 Contribution for the evening. (great investment!) In the meantime, give yourself the gift of self-care and respect make time for positive interactions set limits in relationships in a way that is healthy Best Wishes from Deb Lange
