25.01.2022 And I'm finally into movement, stretches and more physio to get moving forward with strength and recovery in the forearm. The 1kg DB in that hand is a huge step forward This set back injury has been annoying, frustrating and painful. It's been 6 weeks of no upper Body training which has definitely taken its toll on my upper Body strength but today was my first session back of regressed movement's which felt great. Slow and steady progress is better than none i guess. ...I've got a long way to go to get back to pre injury, but not over doing it will get me back there sooner. First upper Body weights session done and boy was it hard but loved being able to pick up a DB once again.

21.01.2022 Tonight the ladies had the gym on fire... the vibe was electic & the energy was through the roof . Welcoming tonight to their first session are these two friends, Christa and Nisha. It had it all, high intensity , weights , body weight heart rates through the roof, sweat and a hell of a lot of determination. They came and they conquered .... Top Effort by all the ladies tonight, it's great to put you through a whole lotta pain with a killer HIIT workout. Success comes to those that work hard to achieve it, every step of the way. 19.01.2022 Thursday night Tonight marks 8 weeks of weight training with these girls, and I couldn't be prouder of how far they've come. Who doesn't love that feeling of being stronger, fitter, faster, more agile and having the confidence in your own abilities with using gym equipment, correct technique, and being able to get 100% out of each and every workout .... I love helping all my clients build solid foundations, so they can continue to progress well after their personal training has come to an end. Awesome effort tonight ladies

Loving what I do makes getting up for all my early PT sessions with all my ladies that much easier. I had no expectations of possibilities when I bit the bullet to start my little Business in April 2017 apart from wanting to put into practice my knowledge, and passion of wanting to helping other women work towards achieving their fitness goals and helping adjust their lifestyle habits. My first priority is all about getting every client to start to enjoy working out, enjoy moving their bodies, enjoy the challenges that I set, enjoy the hard yards you put yourself through to work towards reaching goals, enjoy pushing harder each session & enjoy getting stronger. 13.01.2022 Fridays may be the end of a week for some, but for Jess & Elaine it's just the start Welcoming to Inner Strength Personal Training and Fitness my new client Elaine. She kicked off her first session this morning at the bright and early time of 5am . No excuses! It was dark when she started but light by the time she had finished! It was a great start with Elaine to getting her back into a routine of regular exercise. Dusting off those sneakers and workout gear for a cra...cker first session. Training "easy" never changes anything! I love pushing all my clients out of their comfort zones, staying in that zone to help work towards achieving their set goals. If you just try, you'll be surprised what your actually capable of . After 2 rounds of set time work, we stepped it up a notch with Jess and as she was already fatigued I made her pick up a heavier weight to really push and conquer the session all the way to the end. Strong finish. Training with purpose is key. When setting goals we need to evaluate what its going to take to get those results and what adjusting we need to make to get those results. Keep working hard everyone, let's see those results.

12.01.2022 Hi there, Welcome and Thankyou for checking out my page for the new and old followers. Let me introduce myself, my names Lenka or Lenny to all that know me. I'm 40 years old, I'm a wife to my amazingly supportive husband of 15 yrs (23 years together) and mum of 2, a teenager daughter, and almost 12 year old son. My love of Health and Fitness stems back to when I was a kid. I was always involved in sports, be it individual (swimming or tennis) and team sports... (netball). But it only really clicked about 4 years ago for me though to step out of my comfort zone whilst also working in the field of Mental Health, which I have done now for 18 years, to work towards obtaining my Exercise Trainer Qualifications. I absolutely love Motivating, Empowering, Teaching and Inspiring. Did I mention I Love pushing and making my ladies work hard in the gym too! I'd been apart of a Fitness group for many years which really spured me on to follow my own passion in fitness. So after prolonged procrastination I bit the bullet and started my qualifications. Once qualified it was a natural progression to step out and start building my own small business in PT, and thus Inner Strength Personal Training and Fitness was born in early 2017. Working from home, setting up my own private gym has been and always is a work in progress, but it was the best decision ever. Catering for women of all ages and capabilities in a super friendly, comfortable environment to help them work towards achieving their goals is my #1 priority. It's been an amazing 3+ years, I love every bit of what i do, how I deliver my sessions and hopefully in turn, am inspiring and motivating my clients to live their best lives, by giving them the tools to achieve and follow their dreams to work towards achieving their own goals, whilst also improving and making life long lifestyle changes for the better, for themselves and their families. It was a cold one outdoors this morning, but when your prepared with 4 layers of clothing, and give 100% the layers soon come off . It didn't stay cold for long. 09.01.2022 It's only Wednesday and half way through the week of client PT sessions, but already what an E.P.I.C few days . As a trainer I could not be any more prouder of these ladies dedication to each of their sessions. They are pushing their limits, not backing down, taking on each challenging move and physically and mentally owning their wins. I'm blown away that in such short weeks, their mind set has gone from "I can't do that", to actually giving it a go, and succeeding.... HUGE shout out to Jess Thomas, Carol Meharry & Jess Hanagan . It's been a real pleasure taking you through your paces. I believe in you, and you need to believe and trust the process and journey you are on. You are capable of anything, don't let the mind games tell you other wise. Put yourself out there and be super proud of your achievements . 08.01.2022 I've had this weekend off from clients ( totally rare moment) and have used my time wisely to finish off my Birthday Celebrations. It's been the most Epic and memorable time away with my hubby . Its something that we both needed and deserved. Quality time together, to slow our hectic lifestyle down by a notch- even just for the day/ night, enjoy each other's company and be fully present and in the moment, another great opportunity to make an effort to put on a nic...e dress, heels and make up, and to let my hair down, eat a fabulous meal followed by dessert and accompanied by one too many champagnes and gin cocktails . But it's now time to get back on the lounge and close these eyes as the head is still a little foggy , & hope that when I wake i feel fresh as a daisy. Making memories and celebrating life and Birthdays is just the best. Age for me is just a number! More than happy & proud to say that I'm 40! Thankyou to my amazing hubby for the best Birthday gift, and taking me away to celebrate , feeling totally spoilt. Your one in a million. Love you so much Have a wonderful weekend everyone

07.01.2022 Getting it done before it gets today. Wednesday morning EMOM done- 8 min of work for 4 rounds! ... Christening my new plyo box in the gym with a pretty grouling leg workout. Box jumps got me every time. Plyo training or jump training is just another form of training, where by muscles exert maximum force in short intervals of time, with the goal of increasing power, muscle strength and improve performance Following today's workout, I also threw in some foam rolling recovery for the calves, hamis and glutes .

It was a real tough session, which was designed to challenge not only the physical state but the mental toughness also. Because let's be honest, it's not always about being the strongest physically to get through a tough workout! 07.01.2022 Super proud of this girls commitment, drive and focus When things get tough, she tries to work even harder with the tools she is given. As a trainer I'm always thinking on my feet, and having to change / adjust exercises/sessions on the spot. Planned sessions don't always work out, as obstacles, injuries, setbacks are throw thrown in the mix. But that's what makes PT exciting, being able to think on your feet and still pull together a challenging workout for my ...clients is key. Keep smashing your sessions Jess, your a real trooper and dedicated to hard work

07.01.2022 My working week is now done. What a super charged week its been. I just don't know where to start. It's not often I'm left speechless This week I've seen the best, given by ALL my amazing clients, commitment, consistency, drive, determination, and a do not give up attitude , all done with a smile, and maybe some profanities.... My Weekly Schedule is the fullest it's ever looked, I feel a huge sense of gratitude from current clients and of course the new ones that I've had the privilege in signing up the last few weeks, and also meeting, in the last few days 2 determined ladies who I will have the privilege of putting through their workouts as of next week . My little Biz that I've continued to work hard at is thriving, all thanks to current clients who love what I dish out and continue to come back for more, THANKYOU A big shout out and Welcome to Inner Strength Personal Training and Fitness goes out to Christa & Nisha, who will be attending their 2:1 sessions together as of next week. 05.01.2022 Consistency is It's not always easy, comfortable, you lose motivation, lifes obstacles get in your way, you fall off the wagon... but you know what...we just jump right back on. Only you can make that choice . Some workouts are easier then others no doubt about it, you're focused & determined, other weeks not so much. ... But if we stay consistent with not only our workouts but also our nutrition were on the right path to success.
