14.01.2022 The latest release of our BMSV2 software incorporates force-velocity plots greatly expanding kinetic and kinematic data visualisation to provide very detailed information for comparison of athletes’ performance qualities. In our latest video I demonstrate force, velocity and power differences in magnitude and profile between two highly trained athletes one of which is an elite jumper and the other a boxer with less lower extremity extensor strength and power. The boxer also has a right leg injury, and this is also well demonstrated and quantified by symmetry analysis comparing each athlete left and right force profiles. https://youtu.be/lMnX9Ps3SBw

12.01.2022 BMS Version 2 incorporates left to right symmetry analysis for both upper and lower body. Using our performance force plate the left and right load cell signals are analysed separately to accurately measure differences in force production on the left and right sides. Ratios of force and impulse are calculated to quantify the degree of asymmetry.

02.01.2022 Innervations has collaborated with Composite Components in Perth, Western Australia to design and manufacture a portable isometric strength testing rig built of carbon fiber to be light but VERY strong and stiff. Combined with our C-Force Performance Platform this is the perfect system for testing strength and power on the road or in the field.
