21.01.2022 Little Athletics NSW has recently announced the dates for the State Championships and (some) details about qualification more information to come! https://lansw.com.au/little-athletics-nsw-championships-up/ Little Athletics NSW Update: ... Unfortunately, due to the Public Health Orders, LANSW cancelled Zone and Regional events in September, however we now have a path to move forward to ensure the State Championships will take place. This will occur over two weekends at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre (SOPAC) and will be divided into the following age groups: LANSW Littles State Championships (U9-U12s) 20-21 March 2021 LANSW Youth State Championships (U13-U17s) 27-28 March 2021 More information regarding the qualifying for these events will be provided by 20 November 2020, however, each Championship will have a different qualifying process: LANSW Littles State Championships a State Qualifying Meet will take place in each region with the date, venue and qualifying standards to be confirmed by 20 November. LANSW Youth State Championships a direct entry process will take place with qualification standards which will allow representation from all regions. The process will open in mid-January and close in late February. Details will be published closer to the opening of entries.

You will then see an event titled CLAC IWLAC Track Meet with a green button next to it click and follow the steps to enter your child in as many of the events we’ve invited them to participate in. 12.01.2022 This is a reminder to all, that there is no Long Jump training tonight and it has been replaced by High Jump training (U9's and above). We still have about 5 spots available for the scissor kick clinic, but you will need to register via the Inner West LAC team app’s event page to attend. Due to popular demand, Session 2 is fully booked and for those of you on the waiting list, we are sorry, but we will try to arrange more clinics in the new year so that you can attend.... U16M 200m Thomas Comer U16M - 24.15sec (Own) Previous record - 24.24sec (23/10/20) U16M 800M Marc Girard - 2:18.49 Previous record - 2:20.61 (2014) We would also like to congratulate Tyrese-Lloyd Owusu, who last month competed at the Lake Illawarra Carnival Day for U9M’s, in the 100 & 200 and U10M's in LJ and 400. He won the 100m in his age group and placed 2nd in the 200. He also smashed his own LJ record with 4.04 M and placed 2nd in the 400 (against the older boys). Congratulations to all of you. It's great that we are able to share these achievements every week.
