23.01.2022 At today's general meeting, the IW ladies from St Peters/Campbelltown were treated to a fun card making session. Our teacher was Joan Morrison, sister of long-time IW member Marie Elson. A big thank you to Joan for sharing her expertise with us.

15.01.2022 Our lovely St Peters/Campbelltown Inner Wheel ladies shared lots of laughs and delicious food at their Christmas outing to Kelsey Cottage in Balhannah on 10 December 2018. Thank you President Neta for suggesting such a delightful spot.

15.01.2022 Yesterday (Monday 3 June 2019), our IW Club of St Peters/Campbelltown held a farewell afternoon tea to mark the sad occasion of our IW Club closing and handing in its Charter after 49 years. The event was attended by 15 club members and 34 guests from the other five IW District A70 Clubs. During the afternoon six of our long standing members received 25 year service badges and each spoke briefly of some of their uplifting memories (see photos for details). The afternoon was full of fellowship and friendship, just as it should be.

14.01.2022 Today, some of our club joined with the other five IW clubs in South Australia to celebrate International Inner Wheel Day (Jan 10). We had a most interesting tour of Urrbrae House, the home of Peter and Matilda Waite and then bequeathed to the University of Adelaide for agricultural research. This was followed by a delicious lunch at the Arkaba Hotel. Thank you A70 chairperson Christine Houlson for suggesting we celebrate in this way.

13.01.2022 Happy 48th birthday to our Inner Wheel Club of St Peters/Campbelltown. An enjoyable afternoon with guest speaker Graeme Goodings, delicious spread for afternoon... tea & so many raffle prizes to be won! Graeme entertained us with stories of how he got into radio and then TV with an emphasis on how laughter gets us through the worst things that can happen in our lives, including cancer. See more

12.01.2022 IIW President Chris Kirby was able to ring the Rotary Peace Bell at a special ceremony after an informational walk with our Rotarian Guide.

08.01.2022 Today, members of our club learned about the Variety Club and the wonderful work their members undertake to help children across the world. Our speaker was Lynton Pahl from Variety who also enthralled us with tales from their biggest fundraiser, the annual Variety Bash. A donation of Christmas hamper goods (foodstuff and children's presents) was also made at the meeting to Uniting Communities.

07.01.2022 Today we were delighted to welcome A70 District Chairman Chris Houlson for an official visit. Chris recounted, in great detail, her life growing up in South Australia, her working years and life as a wife and mother. Chris is an extremely accomplished lady with a very big heart and a range of skills including sewing, beading and singing. Thank you Chris for visiting us.

04.01.2022 IW member of 30 years, and secretary of Inner Wheel Club of Loudoun in Ayrshire, Scotland, Anne Thornton and her husband Alec popped into Adelaide for a quick ...hello. In the spirit of friendship a couple of members, Rosalie De Lurant and Alexandra James, met them off the train and gave them a 3 hour tour of Adelaide.
