24.01.2022 The winner of our first Monthly Medal was Bob Cuthel, who has been in the winning frame every week so far. Great golf Bob. Runner up David Arnold. A very happy David. Longest drive for men was our president Gary Peat, ladies Lorraine Maher. Closest to the pin Greg Higgins. Our Club Captain Greg reading out results for the day. Very close game between Brendan Garrett , who won on a count back and Lorraine Maher close behind. Well done to you both on a tough weather day. 21.01.2022 Blustery conditions all day, but it didn’t stop play, we were all hoping for a good down pour. A few spits only, we really need some rain. Three Clubs and a Putter, is always a challenge, you think I need that club for this shot and No you don’t have it , makes it interesting. Cheryl and Lyn on fire with birdies and pars, also Brendan and some great long putts by Ken. Grant doing a golf dance for us, or maybe a rain dance, always fun . ... Winners for the day, Louise, very surprised, thanks to Brendan and Ken for a fun game and talking me into playing. 21.01.2022 Last night Gazza, my husband was quite concerned that he couldn’t find the travelling irrigator. Going through the last time he saw it was on Saturday but didn’t remember seeing it on Sunday. Boys looked everywhere with no joy. Some one trespassed on private property and stolen a $3000.00 piece of equipment we use to try and keep fairways green so our patrons have quietly to play on. Very low act and has been reported to police and the paper. Please return and nothing will be said.

21.01.2022 Individual stableford in conjunction with four ball best ball was decided by a PuttOff, at Ip yesterday, not great conditions, the wind playing havoc with shots. The Individual winners were Brendan Garrett 34 runner up Gary Peat 32. Good golf boys. The Putt Off came about as we had three teams on the same points, very exciting. So, to the green they go, one member out of Gazza’s team, Brendan’s and Greg’s team for the Putt Off. A bit of tension in the air as everyone ...watched on. Matt lead their team to victory. Team event won by Matt, Mel, Greg & Cheryl, good team work. Nearest to pin was Gazza on 8th and Brendan on 16th, not much in it today by these two. Even though the weather not great, everyone kept their sense of humour and celebrated after, Matt sporting the victory hat ( not sure where he got that) interesting. Young Ryan is someone to watch in the future, keen and having good family input to a career in golf. 20.01.2022 Brendan is on fire, just missed A Hole in One on the fifth last Saturday. He was the overall winner for the day as well as the pin shot. Congratulations Brendan, great golf. Very encouraging for all of us who have shoulder injuries, we can make a come back. Secret best ball winners were, did you need to ask, yes Brendan and Billy. Well played Billy and Brendan and runner up was Big Jim as he is affectionately know. Weather held off just till they finished which was great.... 19.01.2022 Congratulations to a wonderful young couple on their wedding day last Saturday, 12th. Cody & Millee with 60 guest celebrated in style. Cody’s mother did a great job of catering with very efficient helpers, which all flowed smoothly. Weather looking tricky all day, the young lady setting up kept looking at me and I said, no I am not looking, it will be ok.(I prayed) After lots of rain and a few showers in the morning, the weather cheered up for a blowy but blue sky aftern...oon for the young couple. Millee & Cody and both sides of the families were terrific to work with to make the day very special. See more

13.01.2022 Lorraine had the best game ever yesterday and won the monthly medal, congratulations Lorraine with 52 net. Billy & Bruce runner ups two weeks running now. Sorry about last week Bruce, your name was incorrect. Nip Bob Griffiths and longest drive was Mitch who seems to evade the camera. Good golf everyone, on a very blowy day. Fun group for their Chrissy party yesterday, outfits very interesting. Main thing is they had a great laugh, fun golf and yummy pizza’s.

11.01.2022 A great day at Innes Park Country Club yesterday for Father’s Day. Terrific band Playing with Fire, Colleen Peterson a super Star, great voice and band so, so good. Thank you so much to Colleen who organised the event, and wonderful band. Johnny doing a great show using a vacuum cleaner hose as a digeridoo, great sound and fun. We had a very young performer only 4, good job Jake. Thank you to all other performers who helped make a fun day.... We hope to have more Open Mic days. 04.01.2022 Great to see a different winner every week, and this week’s two person Ambrose was no different. Keeping it interesting and open for everyone, as it should be. Billy & Nathan were the outright winners with Bob and Craig runners up. Good golf all round and this was Craig first win since joining our club, great effort Craig, well done Bob . NIP were Matt on 16th and Mitch on 8th. Mitch must be a bit camera shy as we haven’t a picture of him yet. I will make sure I take ...one next week. 03.01.2022 Last Saturday’s Stableford game was hotly contested, we have the winner in the club house. No we don’t there are more players to come in and the winner changed right till the end. Billy Osborne outright winner and Nathan Johnson runner up. Nathan also won NIP and Lorraine the other NIP, well done everyone. This Saturday is a two person Ambrose and we are doing a Shot gun start so everyone should finish close together. Please let us know if you can not do a 9.00am start.

03.01.2022 Great to see lots of locals and holiday makers having fun on the course. The course is looking fantastic, Mother Nature thank you for lovely rain. Thrown in the mix was our staff and volunte post Christmas party, which was fun with yummy food.
