24.01.2022 Good Morning Cassowary Coast fishermen, fish shops and dam/waterway owners , this is Darby a 3 month old baby 'Jabiru' aka Black Necked Stork ,he eats between ...350g-500g of fish mix a day . And he will be in care for approximately 9 months .... He also loves pond weeds and water plants . I am out everyday searching and harvesting new greens ,aswell as purchasing fish mix (fish, squid and mice smothered with insect formula) . I struggle to ask for help , it has just never sat right with me but right now I am finding it very hard to keep this mix upto him . If anyone has any fish /fish off cuts , squid , store bought or a disease free breeding colony of mice or a dam with greens in it that they dont use or are happy to donate we would be forever grateful... Id also like to try and get him some live fish so he can learn to catch.
