22.01.2022 The Innisfail TC non-Tab race meeting scheduled for Saturday 21 March 2020 has been RESCHEDULED to be conducted by the Cairns JC at Cannon Park. The Innisfail racetrack recorded approximately 60mm of rainfall on Wednesday making the track unsuitable for racing. Due to the rescheduling to Cairns JCs Cannon Park, there have been some amendments to race distances originally scheduled:... Benchmark 65 Hcp now 950m (was 1000m) Class B Hcp now 1250m (was 1200m) Maiden Plate now 1250m (was 1100m) Final acceptances for the Cairns JC meeting will close at 10am Thursday 19/3. Please note this all race meetings will be conducted without patrons as per RQ COVID-19 policy. Thanking you

20.01.2022 Home Hill and Innisfail Saturday 15 February - ABANDONED RQ advises that the non-Tab race meetings scheduled for Saturday 15 February 2020 by both the Burdekin RC (Home Hill) and Innisfail TC have been ABANDONED. Following consultation with the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) and the official race day veterinarians, the race meetings have been abandoned due to equine welfare concerns relating to the forecast weather temperatures (heat/humidity) on raceday.... RQ will liaise with the Burdekin RC regarding future possibilities to conduct a replacement race meeting. 17.01.2022 Banana Race Day Saturday 15th August 2020 Innisfail Turf Club will host Members & Owners only for this event. Members and Owners wishing to attend will need to register attendance. Details on how to book and further information on bio-security measures to come.... Its not too late to become a member! Simply email [email protected] for an application form. There will be a strong focus on segregation between Members/Owners and Core Racing participants. The Banana luncheon, Fashions on the Field and the after party have all been cancelled. Notice for Members, Owners and New Members... Membership If you wish to become a member, its not too late just email [email protected] All memberships renewals and new membership applications will close on Tuesday 11th August 2020 for this race meeting. Owners Any owners wishing to attend this meeting will need to text or email the Secretary. Once owners and members have notified the Secretary a link will be sent to you to register attendance for the 15th August race meeting. Only registered persons will be permitted to enter the grounds on race day. The club would also like to notify patrons to reduce movement within our designated areas the TAB facility will not be operating.
