25.01.2022 A great initiative for Tasmanias tourism recovery......self drive, long stay, disperse to regions, travel in comfort and safety of own car.....its a win win from us!

23.01.2022 Fantastic effort by some very skilled pilots, and equally those many firefighters battling the fires in our highland forests and elsewhere. Great work that is much appreciated by all

21.01.2022 Tasmania is recognised for it’s authentic colonial heritage. The history, charm and elegance of Lenna (circa1874) embraces you from the moment you step inside. Stay alongside Salamanca, explore historic Battery Point and relax in the stylish Chandelier Bar

20.01.2022 If you’re travelling Tasmania and plan on visiting these areas please heed these advisories and stay safe

20.01.2022 Looking for a weekend escape? Hard to believe reports of snow in the highlands when barely a week ago there were fires in our remote areas.....time to go west maybe? Our local specialists will help you unlock Tasmania's secrets in the Western Wilds, scenic cruises, steam railways, nature walks, waterfalls, and a warm welcome assured. https://www.innkeeper.com.au/att/strahan-west-coast-region/

18.01.2022 How good is this? If the domestic tourism market needed a boost right now this recognition comes at no better time - congratulations to Tasmania's amazing product and operators! https://mailchi.mp//newsflash-triumphant-tassie-scoops-aus

18.01.2022 Scallop pies, icy dips, climbing mountains and wild rye whisky....check out the latest TV ads from Tourism Tasmania, bold, big, and brilliant! https://tourismtasmania.com.au/marketing/brand-launch Come down for air!

17.01.2022 We don't have a brag book but given customer service is so important we really had to share the following recent guest comments from one of our owner/operated properties at Port Arthur Villas. https://www.innkeeper.com.au//hobart-s/port-arthur-villas/ "Stayed here for one night. The self catering room was large, well equipped and clean. Location is excellent with key access across the road into the Port Arthur historic site however, what made our short stay memorable was t...he hotel manager (Deb). She gave us advice on where to have dinner and made reservations for us but the level of service accelerated from there. I had left an item behind at a previous hotel and had been struggling to get the management there to address the issue. Deb took on the challenge and within an hour had sorted the issue and confirmed that the item had been found. She then went the extra mile and arranged for the item to be delivered to a hotel where we will be staying at as we continue our wonderful journey. Many thanks Deb." From Richard B..... And From JeccJ Perfect location "We spent three nights in the villas, located across the road from the back entry to the historical site. Super comfy and clean rooms. Hostess, Deb, was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. There is no restaurant onsite however plenty of places close by and the management sell food packs you can cook in your villa or use the shared bbq. Gardens are beautiful and make for a nice backdrop in the afternoon while have a glass of wine on your porch. A swing set on site held amuse young children." Good work Deb!

15.01.2022 Great news for the Huon region, good to have Tahune back in operation!

15.01.2022 Magnificent Lenna of Hobart, the wonderful thing about it’s history - the older it gets the better it gets! Congratulations to the Clark family for enhancing the wonderful ambience of this National Trust listed building. One of Hobarts finest hotels.

14.01.2022 Thank you Tasmanian Odyssey - your clients are always so well advised on the best places to see our native wildlife. Oh, and wineries too

13.01.2022 Don't feel sorry for old mate, he's been coming to Tassie for years...

12.01.2022 Great commentary from TICT - to our many industry partners we may be dimming the lights for a while but we are not turning them off! Stay healthy, positive, and work ON your business instead of IN it for a while.

09.01.2022 Hard to believe its almost 12 months since our "fearless leader" embarked on the "Three Capes Walk" - 48 kms over 4 days and 3 nights in fantastic Parks huts strategically located along the journey. The Tasman Peninsula offers wilderness, wildlife, history and so much more - even a gin distillery and lavender farm. Our local specialists will help you unlock the secrets of this region and so much more https://www.innkeeper.com.au/attractio/hobart-south-region/

08.01.2022 When people think of the Tasman Peninsula rightly the Port Arthur Historic Site comes to mind but now you can experience a world class multi day walk, with scenery like this get tbose boots on!

08.01.2022 Tasmania’s stunning East Coast beautifully captured here by Wilkography.

06.01.2022 Our local team of Tassie specialists visited the Tasmanian Devil Conservation Park on the Tasman Peninsula recently. Look what you get when you cross a VW with a wildlife and nature park? https://www.innkeeper.com.au//tasmanian-devil-conservatio/

03.01.2022 We have noted a lot of pics lately of our stunning east coast, hardly surprising really? Let us create your own tailored East Coast visit or check out "one we prepared earlier" https://www.innkeeper.com.au//7-nights-eastern-explorer-f/

03.01.2022 A message to our FB family and friends - catching our breath after a massive week of daily, even hourly, changes and revelations as we all deal with a changed world. Sadly, all but one of our wonderful team have now been provided Notice of Stand Down until 31/5/2020. We are aligning our current stand down period with that previously communicated by Qantas, Helloworld and other major tour companies. Clearly it may be necessary to review this time frame as our current crisis ...evolves. At this time Innkeepers Tasmania will remain open until COB Friday 3rd April 2020 with the majority of our team still working hard to cancel and amend countless bookings. (Observing appropriate social distancing and enhanced hygiene measures of course) In a low demand environment our team are maintaining a strong customer focus helping travellers and agents amend travel plans as necessary. The Directors of Innkeepers Tasmania wish to acknowledge the fantastic commitment of our passionate team over a number of very trying weeks Thereafter, our business will continue to operate albeit on a significantly reduced basis: We will actually be at HOME our own homes as we have been encouraged to do. After 3rd April please direct any enquiries to [email protected] To be clear we are remaining open for business just on a smaller scale for the foreseeable future! Take care, stay safe, stay positive!

01.01.2022 Now how did that get in there?

01.01.2022 We love our west coast, so fresh, so wild, so luxurious! Strahan Village has many accommodation options and then there’s the Spirit of the Wild to deliver you into the wilderness. So......lets go!
